- We're Christie and Dom, two twenty something's from London. We quit our jobs and bought a van which we now live in full time whilst we travel Europe.
Our van is called Magnus the Mercedes. We have visited 6 countries in him so so far.

Jesteście dla mnie inspiracją. Wspaniałe zaplanowane i zbudowane wnętrze, a samochód to doskonały wybór. Jeździłem długi czas takim Mercedesem jest niezwykle wytrzymały i bardzo wygodny. Pozdrawiam.
Święta racja.Mam taki autobusik.Do niedawna 7 dni w tygodniu pracował.Przez 5 lat miałem tylko trzy awarie w trasie.Dwa razy wysprzęglik, raz skrzynia się rozsypała.Przebieg roczny około 80000 km.Reszta to eksploatacja typu klocki ,olej.Teraz stoi jako rezerwowy.
Tylko jak wiatr boczny wieje to trochę go nosi po drodze.

so many any people don't bother with one....but it's so important 2 avoid cross-contamination and it's just do practical. 👍😊
Nice van. My wife and I did about 12 years on the road, working a little as we went along, fantastic way of life. Very friendly people generally. Travelled most of Europe plus a year in Canada, USA with a dip down into Mexico. We wish you well.

This is the type of van that I definitely would prefer over the classic white vans. Roomier while looking low-key. Wish you two the best on your adventure.

I love MB T2 and Vario. They are spacious and perfect fit for a van conversion.

I am thinking about buying a simular van. Are you pleased with it mechanically? Any info to share about fuel consumption and top end speed? Super conversion!
Ein schönes Fahrzeug. Alles gelungen. Leider mit einem problematischen Motor. Mercedes hatte damals versucht den Hubraum des 612 D auf unter 3 Liter zu drücken und gleichzeitig mit Drehzahlerhöhung, Turbo und Ladeluftkühler wieder zu pimpen. Die ersten Versuche mit Magermotoren. Das Gewicht erforderte allerdings den ausgereiften 4,3 Liter LKW Motor mit niedriger Drehzahl und richtig Kraft.

You don't want to have a knives in that position if you have accident and hit something hard, those knives would be catapulted forward to the copilot. As well as any other object that might become flying asteroid in the case of accident.

Good point, I wouldn't have thought of that either. We are converting a Mercedes Vario too and documenting on our channel if you want to check it out!

Hey! I really like your van's layout, i am planning to do something like this aswell soon. Is the long wheelbase a problem while travelling? What engine do Magnus have and what the avg fuel consumption :P I wish you luck on your trips!

2. How do u find driving LHD on a RHD road
There is always improvements to be made no matter how nice a conversion is. I would change the rear storage into a large full extension drawer to easily access things ahead of the bikes. Otherwise this van is looks great. VM

What’s the tax like on this vehicle? And do you need 7.1t licence to drive it?
after a certain size of vehicle you don't need an extra licence, because the bigger the vehicle the less probably you get pulled over anyway
