I took Vietnam airlines to and fro London and Ho Chin Minh. I personally think that Vietnam airlines is a hidden gems. It's a fantastic airline which the outside world rarely know it. It's far more better than the other usual well-known airlines.
You may like to know that the international flights were started by a group of mainly Australians operating 1 Boeing 767-200ER in 1993 from memory wet leased feom AWAAS. This was supplemrnted in the following couple of years by 2 767-300ER's which was when the Paris fignts started.& Dubai became a stop for these long flights.Vietnamese Pilots quicky becames FO's.It was from what I can gather a very well run operation, the Aircraft operating with Australian Registration . This gave the airline a huge boost in runing its own operations.
Great video. it felt as if I was actually on the flight. And at Paris CDG I've had to walk and walk and then get the train and then walk a little bit further, just to catch my connecting flight. The whole experience came flooding back while watching. Vietnam Airlines, I'd love to fly with them. Thanks for the wonderful video.
