Jon thank you!! This is by far the best demo of this great pedal - Marshall amps are more than Crunch & OD chords and your demo has given us a great indication of lead tone that are available with this pedal
hello! Please help me. do I understand correctly that you used Joyo British-Orange Crush 20 in the video? Please tell me what values you put on the pedals and on the amplifier to get such a good sound. I'm just new to this.
For someone who has just started with this wonderful instrument, it is a little difficult to hear the timbral variations between one pedal and another: I took the American sound and the California: at first glance they seemed the same to me. From a youth spent on synths and keyboards, hearing the difference from one amplifier to another, as a guitarist does, is more difficult for me, but I'm improving my sensitivity: I just ordered it on Amazon! Obviously a big thank you to Jonathan for what he does and for the enthusiasm he can give to everyone,,, Thanks again!
I now have added two Joyo pedals to my board. The sound quality and true bypass are amazing, especially considering the price point. They make a superb product.
Thanks Jon. While I didn't spend too much time with my Brit Sound the Am Sound I have works great. I find it works great on my pedalboard through a FR powered speaker for home practice. Didn't care for the AC tone and the Brit Sound, well, maybe I need to spend more time with it.
Great Video Jon!I have all 4 of those Joyo Pedals, they are great, my favorite is the British next would be the American sound. I find the California sounds great on Bass. Thanks for your demo. you rock! ;)
Hi Jonathan. Nice demo as usual, very instructive. I have that pedal as well as the AC tone one. As I have niw a reak AC15, I don't use the AC pedal anymore: it was a decent one but not the full real AC tone. I used to have Marshall Jubilee, which was very good but didn't pkay it so much, my preference going to AC tones. So that this British tone pedal please me for what I play. I like the various voicing and gain range, nice tones on the clean channel of my AC15.
Because of the excellent quality of Joyo pedals, and the great value, they’re my favorite brand. I have this one and find it super-useful and great sounding.

I would like to ask one thing: in a pedal chain, with for example a Donner compressor, should these simcab pedals be placed at the beginning of the effects chain? Or am I wrong....T Thanks
Congratulations Man! Excellent review! beautiful song! Can you let me know if you can connect this preamp to a MOOER power pedal and a VOX 1 x 12 in cabinet or does the cabinet simulation mess up the sound? Grateful!!
Nice review! and superb playing as usual Jon! 👌🏼💯 question, how did you use it for this demo? did you record it directly to DAW or you put it in front of your amp?
The Joyo's cab sim can not be turned off but it is rather mild sounding to the point that it works fine into an amplifiers effects return or even straight into the front of an amp. If you do use the Joyo for direct recording it really benefits from an additional cab sim, IR, and/or reverb.
You can call it a preamp or an analog amp sim, either is technically correct. It does have a cab sim but the sound of the built in cab sim is rather slight so it definitely benefits from additional cab sim, IR, and/or reverb.
The Joyo sounds really great and it’s so cheap. It definitely doesn’t sound cheap so it’s a winner in that respect. I had this pedal and it did sound great but it didn’t like my homes power supply it was noisey like someone trying to dial in a station on an old am radio . Not your normal hum bit a high pitched whine. I gave it to a friend and it sounded perfect in his house. My house wiring is old so it may be a bit sensitive to that. Other than that I loved the intro Jon. Made me want to go clubbing in the late night trendy clubs in the 80’s again. Really smooth 😄👍🙏🙏🎸
The one thing that i don't have are any pedals, i only play clean, and gain makes me cringe. As for the "British Sound" i have that from my Vox amps and an echo box. I will never be a "Hank Marvin" but at least i try to sound a bit like him. Thanks for you demo Jonathan, but pedals are not for me.🙂
God DAMN! That entire song you played using the pedal was absolutely amazing!
✌️❤️ GodBless you

Great video as always. I am getting a Joyo British (Marshall) now after watching your video. I have the AC Tone (Vox) one too.
Enjoy!

I don’t really know..✌️❤️
Nice review! and superb playing as usual Jon! 👌🏼💯
question, how did you use it for this demo? did you record it directly to DAW or you put it in front of your amp?
Directly to my daw where I use my line 6 Helix Native plug in ✌️❤️
@@JonIsJustTooLoud do you have an amp sim on your helix turned on? or just the wet effects?
THANK YOU GREAT VIDEO
Glad you enjoyed it✌️❤️
hi! i wanted to ask, can you go direct to mixer only from using this pedal as you amp sim?
You should be able to.. not too sure
Thanks Jon. Does it clean up at all with your guitar's volume pot? That's very important for Gary Moore stuff.
Yes it does.. ✌️❤️
Great!!!!
Thanks!
were u using another IR Cabsim or just directly from the pedal to your DAW?
It goes to an amp/cab sim on my Helix Native✌️❤️
Nice tone
Thank you ✌️❤️
Hi Jon, did you ever review the oxford sound?, can't find the video
Nope i did not...✌♥
Woww nice one jon... Im your fan ☺️☺️☺️ even im not great guitarist...
You will if you try ✌️❤️
Hi! Is this and the American Sound true bypass?
I think so✌️❤️
Can you turn off the built in cab sim? What if you want to use a separate cab sim pedal?
sorry you cant ✌♥
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Tnx sir, but if i will use the effects loop of a real amp and use a real cab? How will it sound?

Nope ✌❤
In your opinion british or american sound ?
American for me✌️❤️
Contrary to popular myth….these Joyo pedals are in fact preamps….they sound excellent with IRs
✌️❤️

You could have used batteries instead?? Thanks Tom ✌️❤️
So true Jon 😄 but I absolutely hate using batteries Jon. I’m a bit wierd that way. I like everything neat and tidy and powered from the wall 😂😂😂
