    I agree, being cashless is not a good thing at all. My husband likes cash, when we had that outage in Australia the shops then were asking for cash. Relying on digital completely is bad news.

    • @leandabee
      @leandabee Месяц назад +1

      When we had that internet outage here in Tassie, all the shops and supermarkets closed. I said why couldn't they accept the ones that had cash, I was told that you need the registers to be working to accept the cash as well, nothing was working so no one could shop. They would have lost millions. People like cash at garage sales, Facebook market place, etc, and people also detest atm, and eftpos fees.

  • @carolyndymond4065

    A lot of places have refused cash now and put signs saying we don't have any cash.
    The odd thing was that around 8 weeks ago, there was a power cut, and nothing worked, so they all had to close.
    It's really daft because look at all the customers they've lost.
    Whenever there was a power cut when I was working in a shop, we just lit candles and carried on.

    • @kookaburralaughs1869

      We don’t really know who the Royals’ “friends” are. “Acquaintances” might be a more accurate term. They will all meet and be encouraged to mix with thousands of people - and many of them will be fawning and trying to make connections. Royals won’t know what the intentions of these people are, so I don’t think you can be too judgemental about who they are seen to be mixing with.

    Good evening Graham & Fiona, I watched Steph’s report earlier, can’t believe that nasty horrible woman, still appears to have ignored the judge’s advice to secure a lawyer to represent her in court. I wonder what the delay is with her psych assessment, it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that Mz Durham was being uncooperative with the therapist or perhaps didn’t even attend her evaluation or some such thing, I think this person likes to play the system, I sincerely hope it comes back to bite her! Just wonder how long she’s going to be allowed to drag this out!🤨
    I also just watched Fiona’s ‘Ten Commandments for Meghan’ interview with HG Tudor, really enjoyed listening to that, MM’s public life would come to an abrupt end if she had to adhere to THOSE 10 commandments she’d positively implode 🤯! 😱💥😂🤣

    By right, he will be settling a debt. So legal tender, unless stated otherwise, " Card Payments Only" etc signage, then the premises are liable. It's a contract. Same as filling up with fuel, unless they display how to pay, then it's unfortunate for them, as the product they are selling has been consumed or in the case of fuel, has been dispensed. Quite a few videos on the use of Commerative coins used to pay for fuel. Legal tender to settle a debt. Not for buying an item in a supermarket for example, as you don't own the item until you pay for it. Different scenario, but very interesting on how it works. Boils down to, the person is more than willing to pay for the service, but the premises say they can't accept whatever payment they were offered.

    David Cameron is the one that should be investigated along with Theresa May. They both invited him into no 10! Nothing to do with Andrew

    Scammers steal my identity all the time, it seems, usually when I've bought things on Amazon using PayPal. I don't know how many cards I had canceled. I have no card right now, in fact. Waiting for a new one. Also had card info stolen at a petrol station and someone bought camper parts all over the southeastern US before my bank caught on. They need to be made safer to use.
