Since you made this video some time ago, can you answer a question about the tent cover? How has the cover's zipper performed after being exposed to dust, mud, and weather over the years? What sort of maintenance is needed to keep the zipper operating smoothly?
Was it difficult to get the trailer back into Canada? I am looking at picking one up once the border opens again. Is CVT registered with RIV? Thanks for the great review!
Hi guys. Do you have this Mt. Ranier on the Jeep now? I know it’s 72” wide and I wanted to install one the same way you have it with the latter off the back. Can you confirm that you are running a 72” wide tent off the back of the Jeep. Thanks for your help.
I have 3 kids. 7 4 and 1 obviously as they get older we would love to continue to use the tent. In your experiences. Would you say the Rainer you have is enough? Or should we op for the Denali off the bat? it will be 5 of us my wife and I and our three kids. Thank you
@@xchrisntiffx I went with the my Denali got it on clearance sale and I had a chance to check it out in person at an expo. For sure my Denali for 5 plus people Ranier should be fine for 5 and under
Awesome video! Just bought mine and haven’t mounted it yet so was watching this to get stoked for summer camping. Was curious if the ladder has to be planted to add support to the tent in the open position?
Great job Pete!! When my wife and I purchased our CVT last year, we new this was the way to go. Even though it takes a little more time, we love setting up our annex as well. Thanks for the info and the tips!!
Tim Weimar - Yes we agree. They are great. We don’t use the annex on the trailer because it is lower that a Jeep tent but we definitely use it on the Jeep. 👍🏻🚙
Wow! What a great review! Pete is a great presenter. These tents are amazing! PS---Just found your channel. Now I'm a fan of an amazing family. Enjoy all of your adventures!
Pete, you're very well spoken. Good job on the review. I never really liked the idea of a trailer, having to drag something behind you, but I'm warming up to the idea. That tent is really nice.
Just found your IG page and Channel! We are contemplating on upgrading to a CVT in the near future. Thank you for this informational video! I do have a question unrelated to this video. I saw a tall standing tent in the background, what kind of tent is that? Looking forward to your future videos and happy travels!
Great review Pete and Mom. Love the high rack on the trailer. We travel with a solo canoe and SUP most times and that will be perfect for tying them on. Cheers, Johnathon
Great Video! I love these gear reviews. That trailer is amazing. Can really add to the gear you can bring along on a trip. Keep being Amazing! Love this family!
Nice! And great keffiyeh ☺️👍
love the idea of your trailer with the tent on top

Would this fit on a Mazda CX9?
That tent rod slide trick is genius. That was a very well done video.
Thanks 👍🏻
Thanks Peter! Great instructional video and review. Your mom did a great job too! It helped me decide what to look for in a rig.
His Eminence - Awesome! Glad you liked it.
Awesome. Thx. Sub’d.
How does the CVT tent receive power for the USB outlets and lights?
Matt & Amy - You can plug it in to a 12 volt power outlet in the Jeep or portable power station. 👍🏻
Great video!
Thanks 😊

@@EFRT I went with the Mt Denali :) and no worries! I've been enjoying all your videos! Hopefully I can take my kids adventuring like you guys :)
Been using our CVT roof top tent for over a year. Love it. Very durable and easy to set up and tear down.
Mike Hoffman - Awesome! Yes we agree.

Hi. Yes, the ladder gives support to the tent. 👍🏻 have fun camping and exploring. ⛺️
Came to see how well the cvt works. Stuck around for the music and the hat. Great video. Going to be throwing one of these on my frontier
david gutierrez - Thanks for watching. You’re going to love it. It a great tent.
What drove you guys to switch from your Tepui Autana to the CVT?
Nico DeBarmore - Tepui is great. We used ours for many years. Bobby at CVT is just such a great guy.
Do you run a mattress topper?
what kind of sleeping bags are u using??

Johnathon Ayles - Yes there is definitely room for a canoe and SUP. Thanks for watching and hope you have a wonderful evening! ❤️
Wow... cvt tents are so cool! Will def consider this for future road trips! 😍 thx for sharing
Nice Trailer with rooftop tent, I want one on the roof of my Jeep JLUR, but my wife won’t go up!!! So we bought a teardrop offroad Trailer. 🇳🇱❤️🇺🇸👍✌️
Guido Kartner - 👍🏻🚙 That’s a pretty good compromise. ❤️
CVT doesn't call their tent ruggedized, it is the Summit series. Tepui Tents has the ruggedized series.
Nice!
The Noel Gang - Thanks.
Well done!!
You're making a huge mistake raising your children like this. They will woefully unprepared for the misery and boredom of adult life. ;)
Stormin' Moorman sorry you’re miserable but not all of us are!! 🙂
Sarcasm....
Stormin' Moorman - 😂. 👍🏻❤️
I wish my parents would tbh
Nice thank you
Lmao I thought you were actually sitting in the sleeping bag in the beginning of the video
Great Video! I love these gear reviews. That trailer is amazing. Can really add to the gear you can bring along on a trip. Keep being Amazing! Love this family!
