Recall seeing them digging out the tram tracks on Pakington st in the 1980s.

That was great. Grew up with the trams. Threepence (2 cents) was the fare from city to terminus. Halfpenny to hospital.

It was great seeing Geelong as it was then.I spotted most of the main buildings.Others i guess were pulled down and rebuilt on.Simple life then.Sometimes better that way.Sometimes not ??

I never knew they had trams in Geelong.
I am trying to find a detailed map of the Geelong system, without luck!
have a look at Geelong Tram revival page on facebook I am sure there is a map on there.
