Companies with 1000s of employees manage to run expense accounts that are almost impossible to fiddle - it shouldn’t be difficult to manage 600 odd MPs so that they can only claim legitimate expenses; everything else should be banned and if they’re found to have conned the system they should be fired as an MP immediately, just as in the private sector. Why is it so hard to get simple things done ?
