I have the exact same car and let me tell you I love it I would not give it up I even called it the Black stallion is a phenomenal car and I wouldn't trade it for the world
I love my 2018 Malibu LS, but it's 2023 and I think it's time to redesign this car. I see a few interior changes but the body is still the same. Its a very good car though and it's fantastic on gas. The WiFi hotspot is a must have as well 😁
I am in love with these cars . I can't afford to buy one but I do work for Enterprise Leasing and drive them some . They're so simply designed, as in, not too many buttons to try and navigate. The seats are exceptionally comfortable and they ride and handle well. It's honestly the only newer car that I find comfortable to drive. All the others have seats made to fit a more slender person that's on the taller side. I'm short and 215 pounds and this car is perfect.

Never owned one, but have driven a lot of them. I travel for work and personal, but seem to always end up with a Malibu as a rental. I would not buy one personally. But it is comfortable to drive and functional.
@@sherrikwhiteside6107 I started having issues with the throttle body, mass air flow sensor, transmission. So my 3 year warranty expired so I had to pay $200 diagnostic fees every time the check engine light went on.
@@tokk3n-hj4xg sadly, none of these cars are as good as they used to be. I may revisit getting the Camry as well, seems like the safest option, reliability wise. Thanks for responding.
What are your thoughts on the performance and reliability of the CVT transmission? Do you think finding a leftover 2002 with the 2.0L turbo and 9 speed transmission is a smarter choice for reliability? Also, does the 1LT's steering wheel feel cheap versus the leather steering wheel in the 2LT? Subscribed.
CVT isn’t great driving feel for me, but very linear and efficient compared to the 6-speed auto, even the 8-speed. But, my favorite setup is definitely the 2 liter turbo and 9-speed auto, so I’d definitely side with going that route. And yes, 1LT wheel seems much cheaper than the more plush leather one in 2lt.
Are you not going to mention how Chevrolet downgraded tail light to incandescent, from 2022 LED tail lights for the LT trim!?
Ive had currently a long term rental 2023 chevy malibu wich i use for uber and tbh its a great car

I have a 2021 Malibu, regret buying the car, next car is going to be a camery.
Why do you regret it? I am in the market for a car, that’s the reason I am asking.

Does the trunk not lock? I noticed you just opening it with a latch.
With the door locks.
looks like the same old car to me
Great job!! Nice car!! 🌟
How much LS cost
$22-$25k
Chevy need to change it up shit it’s the same car last 4 yrs
IS IT RELIABLE ?
DOES IT COME WITH LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY ?
Not sure about reliability as they’ve only had the CVT in Malibus for a few years, but this dealership offers a lifetime warranty.
