Tim hope it's ok to mention Tire pressure. When I had mine on the scales I had the right rear tire 1 psi more so the left front was 100 pounds heavier

Like the idea. It's great to have a better understanding of a car and to make it go fast. But as grand dad use to say. "If you can't and wouldn't drive it on the street. Then what does it matter how fast it can go. It's like a pissing contest at that point." Great content. Learned a lot so far.
All of drag racing, since the beginning, is a pissing contest. "Can I get to the next light faster than the next guy?" Pissing contest. No practical value other than the fun.
First rule...buy good set of scales..2nd rule...always use same scales...3rd rule...level the scales before using
Jamessr23 3rd rule is always scale it in the same place it’s almost impossible to get the scales level . I mark it on the floor of the shop. I’m not much of a door guy but in my experience scaling a car at the track is a bad idea
How off can the weights be if scales are not perfectly leveled?

How important or detrimental is it to have the scales completely leveled? Are we talking a few pounds off or 50 to 100 lbs off? Thx

No mention of the importance of leveling the scales, settling the chassis, rolling the car on the scales vs using a jack and DROPPING each wheel on the scales, consistent tire pressures.....I guess some things still need to be learned the old fashioned way?
What do you prefer to put in the 4 link, Rear steer or pre load?

All the guys that need more info than that shouldn't be working on their own car. On second thought y'all keep watching videos, watch this one 3-4 times and you might find your answers.
