      Don't think so, ferrofluid is non-toxic since its a bunch of oils and very small metal particles.

      Because Nate mentions multiple times that this is a highly toxic substance, holding it bare handed could lead to poison like mercury if you held it bare handed. So if you ingested it, I'm very sure it would take some sort of negative toll on your health.

      Ferro fluid is Laser jet toner. It is really printer ink. The printer uses function to ionize particles of the ink with a laser beam. to create the image and. with high dry temperature

    To not lose Ferrofluid cover you magnets with plastic/rubber.
    For small magnets the easiest thing is to put then inside Latex Balloons.

    I'd love to see some more Ferrofluid stuff with an electro-magnet, and other things like that.
    I'd also be interested to see how it freeze dries. I don't see it working in the cotton candy machine at all though.

      @Vision Gaming nothing happens since dry ice is entirely sublimated CO2. since CO2 contains no water, its effect should be zero .microwaves work by exciting and effectively heating the water molecules in food and liquid.

    Could you get the ferrofluid off the magnet if you got a strainer and a put the magnet that had it on in the strainer and a stronger magnet underneath kinda just sucking it all in

    To get it off, you could try to put the dirty magnet in a container and put a stronger magnet outside the container to pull it off the original into a container. The container will prevent the ferrofluid from sticking to the new magnet. Just a suggestion/idea

    Get a really strong magnet and when you want to recover the ferrofluid off a weaker magnet you can place it in a container and use the stronger magnet to pull it off through the wall of the container.

    Mix ferro fluid and ooblek together ( ooblek is corn starch and water and it gets hard when you apply force to it )
