What is olodumare??????
The highest power of the universe. God .
@@peterimoje-medicinehealthc4794 than how does its communicate with us... And is that a positive energy or negative?
@@nlyk_dv8356 Olodumare is the creator of everything seen and unseen. He is God. A positive spirit of good that signifies purity and rules over us. He also created the Angels and bestowed upon them freewill. Some of these angels however got full of themselves and decided to go against the will of their creator out of selfishness and jealousy. GOD(Olodumare) did not destroy the instigator and his followers instead, he cast them out of heaven to the earth where they will roam until the end of time where finally olodumare will condemn them to Hell. These spirits roam the earth and want the followers of olodumare to go against his will so that they win more souls to them. All of these led to the creation of evil (opposite of good) there are controversies however to all of these. Some people dont believe in the existence of hell or An all knowing God.
However in past civilisations, humans have always felt the need to connect to a higher power. They give this Divinty they worship different names. In Western Africa, Yoruba land, The creator is called Olodumate. The creator of all things. The positive energy .
Dome people ask why he didnt destroy evil. That's the extent of Gods mercy.
If we are fallible humans and not perfect, then like the devil, we too deserve to he condemned in that regard.
@@peterimoje-medicinehealthc4794 I find your post interesting. Why? You gave a Christian meaning to a word that came from Yoruba IFA corpus, Olodumare. In full as stated in Odu Ogunda, Olodumare is short form of "Olodu-Ikoko-tin-Tan-Osumare". "Owner of the boundless pot that shineth the rainbow". As a yoruba word and name, it tell a story.
The word "Olodumare" is a short form of the full name "Olodu-Ikoko-tin-Tan-Osumare" as stated in the Yoruba IFA Corpus in Odu Ogunda (verse). It literally interpret as "Owner of the boundless pot that shineth the rainbow"
