    Losing a child is like losing half part of soul. You don't feel happiness anymore, for sometime. I've been there, I know how it felt. Don't wanna let her go, but have to. Some old man said to me: you love her, that is true. But God loves her more, so let her go, let her rest from that pain. Damnit.

    Did I hear that right? They only preserved their daughter's brain and some other cells? So they would basically be just putting her consciousness in to someone else's body. Even if technology ever advanced to the point where this was possible - it wouldn't really be their daughter anymore. It would be someone else's body. She would look totally different. Sounds like something out of a horror movie. And how sad would it be for her to come back to life many years in to the future, but all of her family would be dead by then.

There are spiritual beings (demons) that will take advantage of these frozen bodies if given the chance to deceive us into thinking it is really our love ones re-animated when it really isn't. This thing shouldn't even be attempted as when someone does pass away, they should be buried or cremated or something. Not tried to be reserved... I'd never suggest it, or do it myself. Everyone grieves differently and maybe this family felt even a shred of hope and that made it possible to go forward in their lives. No one should judge how the other deals with pain and heartbreak. It may not make sense to you but this is not about making sense. This is about trying to heal/mend a broken heart. I imagine only persons who have lost their child would truly understand.

      Dont you know how many breakthrough advancement in life extension and cure for aging has been occuring in just last 3 years? (I bet you dont because vast majority of humans have never read a single academic paper in their life, let alone keep up with latest research progress)
      Singularity will very likely occur before 2100, and by then all humans will be immortal and technology to revive frozen patients will certainly be available.
      Spending tons of money on funeral to be buried 6 feet under to rot in the ground vs spending similar amount of money to be preserved until ~2100 and waking up to be immortal? Your life your choice
      In any case, ANY breakthrough technology or invention regarding life extension should be reserved strictly to the few who are intelligent enough to perceive them. The world is far too overpopulated and 99% of human beings are absolutely useless.

    The problem with cryonics is that they are completely ignoring the fact that humans are more than just bodies, hearts and brains. There is a soul. I believe, when a heart stops beating, it is not revived, just because a brain is removed and frozen, the brain could still be unfrozen one day, but when frozen it is in an inactive state, as though it is dead. My point is this, when a heart and brain are no longer active, preserved or not when there is no activity there is no soul activity, and when there is no soul activity, the soul is gone and the patient is truly dead.

    So many people are commenting "let her rest in peace." She is resting, nothing changes that. She is not in any suffering or pain.
    Why deprive her and her family of the right for her to possibly live again one day? If I had to die and there was a glimmer of hope in the distant future, I would want to take that chance. I wouldn't want to stay dead. There is so much to do and not nearly enough time for it. Why do you all think that she wouldn't want a chance to live even a little longer? Why would someone wish to stay dead....

Plus, a few years ago there were issues about these cryo places that the freezing temp wasn't correct and some of the tissues actually thawed.

      Miraculous: Around The World
      A few years ago, my baby sister passed away, she too had cancer. We were poor, couldn't find anyway to save her. Our family had different ways to cope, I shutdown and focused hardcore on my schoolwork. My elder brother worked all day, my parents pretended everything was fine. They probably didn't want to upset us by being sad.
      My little sister helped me though. Her passing helped me succeed education wise, I got into great schools and am now pursuing a medical.
      I wish I could see her once more, thank her for everything. I know she is in heaven, she was a sweet little angel already down here. But I'm not going to heaven I don't think, so I hope she comes down one day, I wish to thank her.

    I completely understand what these poor parents are going through. I know how undeniably painful it is to lose a child. But this is.... it's crazy. This little girl.... I'm sorry, but she's gone. We're all born and we all have our set time to leave this world. It's best to just allow nature to do its own thing. Don't try to play god like this, or you'll never move on. Even if you do manage to bring her back, she will not be the same girl you once knew. Please just let her rest peacefully. Focus on your other child, and use the money/time spent on this to yourselves and your family as you heal.

      Unsuccessful in what exactly? In convincing these parents that what they're doing isn't right in my eyes? Clearly. I very much doubt the parents will be reading these comments on this video, let alone find mine, and have some goddamn epiphany. But this is the comments section, where people can share their opinions.
      Having personally been through the same heartache of losing a young child, I shared what I made of the situation. If what I say is irrelevant, why the hell are you giving me any attention at all? Whatever. I've said my piece. Relevant to anyone or not, it was good to get it off my chest.

    • @flowerpowerocks3283

      because death is part of life, you cannot resurrect someone for your own selfishness. Plus it is completely unethical and actually really freaky.

      Simran Johal how is it completely unethical? disease is a part of life but is it completely unethical to try and cure it? is it also creepy that we can make bionic limbs and help people who are paralyzed too?? i'd call you a half wit but you dont even have half a brain.

    • @flowerpowerocks3283
      @flowerpowerocks3283 8 лет назад +6

      wow looks like i hit a nerve there. Look i don't expect anyone who eats dogs, rats and chicken foetuses to know anything about being ethical. Someone like you couldn't bear the sight of your little emperors to be dead, since, of course, you're only allowed one (and for good reason too). I wouldn't insult the intelligence of others just because you didn't agree with them, but that is of course that's how you commies work. Maybe you people wouldn't have so much cancer if you weren't stupid enough to pollute everything you touch.

    If this does become scientifically possible to do this in the future the world probably wouldn't allow it to happen on widespread scale. Assuming the population of the world continues to increase, and people live longer, then wouldn't we run out of resources if dead people don't stay dead. It would also posses some religious issues (eg if your body is frozen at death does your soul stay with your body to to heaven, and legal issues (eg if you're frozen, what happens to your estate, does it get passed on to your inheritors or does it stay legally yours). Having said that, a lot of things could happen in the future were this could be a perfectly normal thing to do.

    • @Shortyjored88
      @Shortyjored88 8 лет назад +22

      That's where demons come into the picture. They can now have free reign of dead people's bodies who are re-animated because surely it wont be the soul or spirit of that person coming back from the dead.

    • @Suzuniyukai
      @Suzuniyukai 8 лет назад +2

      there will always be people who don't want to be frozen, people will always want something different because we're individual, many wont be preserved (and/or have the money to be) and that will probably keep that balance. plus we're already getting lower on resources so most likely at the point where it's more plausible to be kept, we'll either be extremely low on resources already or people may find a way to replenish equal amounts.
