Loving playing catch-up on Chaosium week! The Runequest adventures have been great books. Looking at The Smoking Ruin pagethru, that book looks a little stronger for me, but I'll be interested to compare your reviews.
I'm going to try to run a few short-term games over the next year or so. First up is a 5 or so session DCC game. But I'm very tempted by RuneQuest for a possible second. This might be handy to have.
Same here. I pick up The Red Book of Magic and page through it in a mixture of admiration, inspiration and perhaps a bit of desperation (to play!). Runequest is one of only a few RPGs that elicit the wondrous joy I experienced when I was first introduced to the hobby.
