i have very porous and oily skin. i recently used a combo of murad matte moisturizer, dr. brandt, and becca primer all ❤ my skin looked flawless and my makeup lasted over 12 hours and didn't look cakey at all.

The Becca Matte Primer is life. I just got a sample at Sephora. I don't have anymore and everyday I put on my makeup without it I look like I'm a big greasy chicken mess. I'm going to go and buy it after work.

No. 7 Beautifully Matte make up base is my all time favorite!
PSA: don't immediately jump for the full sized product when you fall in love with the travel size. A lot of times you get more product for your money by sticking to the travel size. If you notice a product isn't much bigger than the travel size, you're probably paying more than you have to.

I'm going to buy the travel size of the Becca today when they open. idk if I'm fully ready to commit to the full size or the full size price just yet.

I use the Becca primer because I get very oily around my nose. When applied correctly, it works wonders.

Hello beautiful ladies, I'm new to your channel and what a great video!!! But, I have to tell you of a primer you need to try that I bought from Sephora (online) that works like Magic!! Don't know if you've tried it to not, but It's called Cane+Austin Prime & Protect Mattifying Primer with broad spectrum SPF 50!!!! It works wonders!!! I have super super oily, acne prone skin and can I just say...MAGIC!!! It has mineral sunscreen, along with green tea, vitamin C, CO-Q 10, and Resveratrol! I apply my makeup every morning, 4x/week at 4:00 AM and literally don't take it off until 9:00 PM, that's what...17hrs, and I only have to touch up on my upper lip area (kinda weird) two times on my 17hr days...AMAZING!!! It does have color which is either light/med or med/dark. They also have colorless, but why add an extra step.?. I have olive tone skin and the med/dark was perfect..one coat was plenty for me! I do put a very small amount of Smashbox pore-minimizer around my t-zone area (you don't have too), and my favorite setting powder and spray! Since it's going on summer I don't usually use foundation, but this primer gave enough coverage that made it perfect, especially after bronzer and blush! THIS IS A MUST TRY LADIES!!!!! Trust me when I say I've tried EVERYTHING! I was using Smashbox pore-minimizer and MUFE step 1 religiously, but still had shine within 6-8hrs! Naturally, I felt frustrated, lost, and hopeless because of my long work days, until my favorite Sephora associate told me about the Cane+Austin, which she wears as well....MIRACLES do happen!! My face doesn't swim in OIL anymore, so goodbye to frying eggs, multiple touch ups, blottings, powdering, etc...So, you ladies must try this product and that it works, just as well for you as it does me! Also, wen I do my skincare first.. I use a great oil-free moisturizer prior to my primer! I've been wearing makeup since I was 15, and have had major oily skin for as long as I can remember. I'll be 51 this month of 2017 and finally found a product that delivers. So, I hope it works so well for you both, that you'll do a video about it! Much love from an oily sister!!💕

I was a wedding recently and our MUA used the becca primer on us, it was bomb! I gotta buy it now since I know for sure it works for me. I do also like the MUFE and Smashbox primer and I love how luxurious the Hourglass one feels on the skin
U really need to try the smoothing primer from Make Up Store!! It comes in a powder formula and it's amazing. Really new on the market with powder primers also. The pores disappears and the skin feels super soft and nice!

Clinique makes a super primer that's great for combo skin. its very gentle on your skin too, you ladies should check it out

I am combination skin and the Mufe primer works just like if I had oily skin. Anything that says oily I buy for my combination skin.
Wow this is the first video I've seen for makeup on youtube that gets straight to the point and the information is clear and very helpful. Even though it's 18 minutes you both do such a good job addressing all of the important information for each primer and quickly moving to the next primer that it seems like the video was 5 or 10 minutes. Thanks for this video!! I've wanted to try the NYX, but I'm tired of buying products that don't control oil as they say. I wish I had tried the Becca Mattifying Primer as soon as I heard about it but the price point kept me away because I'm thinking it wouldn't work like the rest. It WORKS. The only thing that works on my super oily eyelids and T-zone. I use that with the Hard Candy setting spray and even when I dabbed sweat away (I easily perspire 😩) there was next to no makeup transfer. My face was set all day flawless through my sons graduation night.
Ms. Mommie becca kept my makeup fleeky through an hour long sweaty workout. Best thing ever! Givency sample I didn't like. NYX matte spray is the bomb

You should go to sephora and get samples of primers. Out of all of the samples the Becca matte was best.

+Mishayla Lavender Yes. You just them know you want a sample of the product. You can even get samples of perfume & foundation as well. I used my sample almost a week. It all depends on how generous the Sephora rep is.
No primer has ever worked for me. My face is super oily I can fry chicken from the oil off of it 😫😫 the only thing that has been working for me is milk of magnesia 🤷🏽♀️
Bonnie Glam yes! Same here I swear my skin is so oily it’s disgusting. I blot my face all the time and ppl look at me like I have AIDS or something. I barely even wear makeup because of the oilyness

Same here. Tried 3 different ones. Nyx shine killer, rimmel stay matte fix and go, elf poreless primer. All recommended by youtubers None of them even came close to M.O.M. Not even CLOSE.

Makeup Forever primers work the best for me! Absolutely love them. Becca is really good too but sometimes I would feel a little cakey. Love these videos!

Omg you two are so beautiful and I can tell by the accents that you two know something about heat, humidity, oil, and sweat lol. What about Revlon Photoready primer? It's the only one that removed the appearance of my giant pores. I could wear it without foundation it is so smoothing. I haven't tried it in the heat though but I've heard oily people do well with it.

The Becca primer is definitely my favorite!
The pink one smooths and brightens if I'm not mistaken that one I've used it kind of smelled like sunscreen cause it has spf in it
I use the no. 7 everyday, I love it! & yes that mufe primer is amazing it will snatch that oil so fast
Well i have all of these.... Only ones that work for me are Hourglass, Angel Veil (dupe for Hglass), Becca and MUFE - the others still leave me oily after like 20 mins. The struggle..

Stephanie Francis did nothing for me too similar to Sacha primer ... becca is the truth but for now I only get samples until I find travel size. I use mom sometimes too but as a mask I don't leave it on ... L'Oréal perfecting primer is ok to mix with others ... step 1 mufe is good but becca is better if u ask me both pricey AF ugh .... #samplelife

Hi twinz I wanted to give you guys a great tip for oily skin that will eliminate the problem and reduce open pores tremendously. I am a oily girl also and I want to share .... Peppermint oil ❗️ Dilute at least 6 drops in 4oz or 5oz of water to prevent the burn feeling...Results right away and yes use at night once a day after you wash your face also better after face steam .. Please if you try get back at me and let me know..
I really enjoyed this video. ☺️ I own and have been using the MUFE mattifying primer but I'm not impressed by it. I truly feel like it's over-hyped. I live in the humid south with oily/combination skin so the struggle is REAL when it comes to controlling oil. Fortunately, I have travel-sized versions of the Smashbox primer (the "original" one) and Becca's primer so I'll try those next. I've tried Cover FX's mattifying primer and it broke me out. 😒 Thanks again, girls. 💁🏾
