You are a Talent Maaaaan... Awesome... My grandmother Pua Lavulo is your Grandfather Manase Latu's Sister... My Mom asks if you are Liu Fala Latu's son or grandson... that voice is Golden... Much Love from CA
Malo Joshua, just saw your message now! Yes Liufala is my Grandfather and Manase Latu is my great grandfather. My dad is also Manase which makes me number three haha
Katherine Wintana replied: I like it very much! I find him really inspiring as a young singer myself. I understand that this industry is very critical and it is hard to please everyone but comments like this don’t help us young singers. No worries if you’re not a fan but rather than just writing nasty things maybe write an approach that you would suggest maybe something that could help instead of a nasty unhelpful comment. Kia pai to ra x @ Katherine Wintana He needs to stop singing on the stage immediately, and go back to training his voice. This piece is beyond his young talent, and it he continues to do this, he shall not improve and he’ll destroy his voice. Unfortunately, the Internet is full of young promising artists that have destroyed their voices by pushing them too fast. For example, Vittorio Grigolo had a glorious voice that he has ruined by pushing it.
@ Emmanuel Fonoti-Fuimaono 1:171:322:00 WOBBLE-lack of proper support 3:01 - 3:05 improper breathe control. 3:54 bad falsetto, 4:26 to end FALSETTO and poorly done. Are you happy Emmanuel?
@ operadog2000 Are you a singer Operadog? Can we see or hear some of your performances? I'm a singer and I can assure you that wasn't a falsetto. I have a very similar voice and that is mixed voice. When I go up my voice tends to sound lighter, just like his. Most critics out there are frustrated opera singers who can't probably sing a note right. I hope that's not you case. @ Richard Mendoza Do you know when a tomato is ripe, or do you have to be a farmer to know when it is unripe? His voice is unripe, and it needs much more training otherwise he shall ruin his voice. The note was falsetto, it was bad, and even if it were mixed-voice, it is still bad. He has promise, but his voice needs much more work that he shall not strive to get if fools continue to falsely praise his faulty technique. You have posted a tenor on your channel singing ‘Questa o quella’ in which he omits the final Bb. He’s young, and at this point, he sings too open. However, I am sure that since you are a great singer, your opinion is that he’s better than Caruso? To answer your question, yes I am a singer, and my tenor voice extends easily to C5 and Db in FULL CHEST VOICE. Since you have already posted yourself singing on your channel, why don’t you please please post some arias instead of the short ensemble that you have posted so that we can hear your spectacular top notes.
The entire performance and especially, the final top note (falsetto). He'll never improve because of a faulty technique that shall destroy his voice. Do you require more facts?
@@operadog2000 with you just saying “horrible” … that’s a bit much dont you think for an aspiring YOUNG opera singer. You can say your criticisms sure, but like you could have given a bit more insight like instead of saying one word - horrible (according to your ears)… maybe suggestions on some key parts of this performance in a more positive way. Idk like how to approach certain phrases? Or your perspective on how to approach that high note? This singing thing I’m sure is collaborative. Not a situation like “I know this and you don’t” or “you will never improve”. You can have your opinion but like it is pretty unnecessary for you to comment like this bro. Give reason why you don’t like it and then your thoughts to suggest something helpful and valuable… every singer is different and there is not one way to singing. Or even just keep it to yourself :)

Not the point bro. So what could you suggest to help with these things you’re pointing out?

What’s horrible? Please enlighten us :)
