  • In this Adventure with Bernie, I am hiking through breathtaking scenery that would rival any South East Queensland destination. We make our way to Mt. Cordeaux, Bare Rock & Morgan's Walk. Main Range NP includes World Heritage listed Gondwana rainforest, and vistas that can only be truly appreciated by experiencing it yourself. This was my second venture to the Park and I'm sure looking forward to getting back.
Over fifties, or in my case over sixties, regular physical activity is good for the body, mind and soul. Follow my adventures to see what works for me, but more importantly, get out and enjoy this stunning world of ours for yourself. It's a short life, so please make the most of it.

Cordeaux has been on my list for a while, it looks magnificent with the views from up there. How your work going up that way? Still a bit chilly it seems with the frosty breath...LOL

Did something take a huge chomp out of your hat mate? Maybe a pesky rabbit?
That seemed like a lot of steps pal. On ya for not slipping on those wet trails.
Do the mushrooms in those parts have any hallucinogenic properties? Maybe leading to breath with vapor? Asking for a mate of mine. ;)

G'day Nate. Mine is an Akubra hat, coincidentally made from rabbit, about 13 pelts go into each hat. Typically they do wear out there, because they are grabbed there when removing the hat.
It is quite steep, a good thing I was wearing boots and not my preferred footwear of thongs.
I may have accidentally consumed mushies once or thrice, that did some strange things to me 🫨These particular gems I left alone.
Good to hear from you mate, hope all is well 🙏
