The console experience is now about "low barrier to entry" which Xbox with gamepass is a lower barrier to entry than what's on offer from PlayStation. The real answer is there is no reason to buy any console but Nintendo and we'll see how long that lasts.

I hope one day, that every game released on Xbox or GamePass includes play anywhere, with PC and Console. MS needs to make it the same code base for both the PC version on MS Store & Console. Just have the devs adjust settings for console SKU and when console is detected it switches to that. Like how Smart Delivery works now.

Other studios can make open world sandbox games based on crime, but be realistic, non of them will be something you can view as a competitor to a juggernaut like GTA, they at best could exist in its shadow. Yeah I gave that show a 9/10 just based off of the games. And the cool thing the games were all story driven looking games so Xbox is tapping into that Sony style of game and it was Epic! Awwe Man AndNowYourMommaKnows 🤠
This was undeniably a fantastic showcase from Xbox! So many great experiences to look forward to and no matter where you play them, Gamers are Winning! Doom The Dark Ages looks like straight up hellfire in the best way, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is bringing a touch of artistic flair from France, South of Midnight has the vibes of an old Louisiana folk tale and Ninja Gaiden 4 is bringing the nonstop hardcore action and the shadow drop of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black was the cherry on the cake! 10/10! Perfect show! Well Done Microsoft!
I dont get how anybody who's not a pony could say that Xbox's line up for this year isn't (potentially) one of the best of all time. There already 6 games announced and there's rumors for another 3. If GTA 6 launches this year it'll definitely shake some stuff up but just the 6 announced games alone is still a great year.
