Where I live we have ONE AAA team, ONE TEAM for U13 to U18. The team is the Thunder Bay Kings. That team is 7 hours away from us but its the ONLY option. Hockey Canada has a major issue. Everywhere in Ontario west of Thunder Bay is forgotten. Why isn't there a AAA team located in Dryden or Fort Francis. This team should be funded by hockey Canada to ensure kids in this area have an avenue. How does this get fixed? There's 100,000 + population with nowhere to play AAA hockey.

Hi, we do not have answers to that unfortunately. If the population is big enough and there’s enough players to fill an entire youth organization, then it could be feasible.

You raised your kids in a garbage barge, that's on you, bucko.

I got a good amount of grant money playing d3 hockey. Thats also an option for smaller schools

Definitely a great option, there’s some more ways to get money too with financial aid (if you qualify) or an on-campus job.

Another little piece of information that you may have forgotten to add, Army and Air Force are FREE, but are only open to US citizens and require service time after graduation.
