Always remember: This too shall pass. The bad times are not forever, the stress and anxiety does let up. Seek comfort in small joys - unexpected rain and the scent that follows, plants growing despite the setting, birds, tea, grass, trees, good food, loved ones, soft blankets and cool sheets, artwork and hobbies, games we enjoy and share with friends, books, cool rocks or acorns found unexpectedly. Lows arent always followed immediately by highs, but they are followed by the chance to breathe and recouperate - we find peace in the spaces between extremes. You've got this. Remember to breathe, remember to drink cool water, eat fresh fruits and veggies when you can, cut back on the caffeine and screens that make us anxious. Take time to live slowly.
It's been 3 years since I first started listening to your channel during my study sessions. I use your videos as part of a pomodoro method, when the video ends, I take a short break and repeat. Your music selection has helped me to maintain my sanity during test weeks, so thank you! Please keep doing what you do 💙
Got a candle lit by my bedside with some coffee, a little anxious for dbt Monday and this mix is just what I needed to remind me to be mindful, thank you always, Ambition.
to everyone who reads this: don't be too hard on yourself! i know that you have worked hard in life and your efforts will definitely pay off, so chin up!
I needed this, my Laptop 5year old recently stopped working and it might be dead. Just really bummed out about it. Bunch of people started treating me poorly as well out of nowhere, hope times get better.
2024/5/18 I feel discouraged. Don’t feel like drawing for some reason. Maybe it’s other work I have to do, or something. Had some good fried rice today and played Microsoft Flight Simulator though. That’s all for now.
We all hit those blocks. Sometimes it takes getting out of your routine or just giving yourself an indulgence here and there to get back on track; I havent sketched or written in years, then I got out of town and it was like the dam broke. I wrote, I slept like nothing in the world could weigh me down, I swam in the lake, and I felt so much better. Sometimes getting physically out of our routine is necessary to get ourselves back into the headspace we want - lately ive been getting back into making homemade tea and its been a huge lift for my mental health. I just brew it in gallon batches; they last me a day or two, I make another, and all the spent leaves go into the compost for my garden. Find things you enjoy and try not to force it; find ways to utterly relax and detach mentally from the wants and needs of the day. Art is a passion, a joy, an outlet for expression - it'll come, it just needs the right coaxing. Best wishes c:
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Matthew 6:26-27
Let's stay the course, fellers. There will be a great deal of hardship on the road ahead, but it falls upon us when chopsing if we make it or not. Keep at it, fellers!
Best way that worked for me is to be what you want in a partner, continue to find and learn yourself, and be patient. Not by waiting for your future partner, but by being patient with the early stages of a relationship (so don’t be afraid to shoot your shot). Learn to be by yourself and you’ll be better at handling rejection. Hope this helped.
For anyone who has experience with this, I will enter university and suffer from social phobia. Will it be this bad or will it be a new and enjoyable personal experience? I do not know, but I may feel afraid of moving to university housing, etc.✨️
This too will pass. Bad times are not forever; they may not be followed by a proportional high, but the bad does let up enough that we can breathe and take comfort in small joys while holding out for the good. Seek contentment when and where you can; good food, good tea, good music, good friends or family, nice summer nights with a cool breeze, nice smelling incense, nice thrifted or comfy clothes, homemade artwork, sweet smelling candles, the chance to swim, looking at birds or insects just existing in nature, smelling flowers or clean grass, having a smoothie with your favorite fruits or flavors, sleeping on clean cool sheets on a rainy night. There is good out there; the bad times can be overwhelming, but they always pass. We just have to hold onto that knowledge whenever it gets hard: this too shall pass.
