@ukchris123 it's 3/4 lenght so most of the tide is fine for launching/recovering but be careful as its quite slippy atm and not the easiest for reversing I was launching a Rib there 3 weeks ago and it was a little bit challenge
Excellent video, I'm not jealous one bit.... 🤥 Thanks for taking comments on board regarding length of video, already looking forward to the next one! 👍🏼
Glad you enjoy the channel, it is a awesome place to live with so much great water to explore! If your every back over and want a dive buddy let us know. 👍👌
The boat is 3.5m and the engine it 5hp however this year I upgraded the engine for a 15hp yamaha which is much better and now gets the boat on the plane so it cruises about15/16 knots instead of 6/7knots. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍🌊
Keen to get the SIB up there soon too. I've a wee friendly FB group, "Inflatable Boat Fishing Scotland", say hello on there and maybe join in one of the group days!
Not fished the Stain area before I have dived it and there's plenty Pollock about! Depending on work I might be tempted to take my Sib out with you and go in convoy to explore so new ground if your interested?
@@skyespearfishing ...I was certainly not meaning to sound too critical , it's merely my personal opinion 👍 As an angler of over 40 years, a large part of my own enjoyment are the sights and sounds of the surroundings .. the louder the music the more distraction for a viewer . @@skyespearfishing .. you obviously caught loads of great Lythe in the video .. but do you get many Saithe these days ? They used to vastly outnumber the Lythe throughout the north west of Scotland , but i certainly haven't seen many of them in the last 10 years or so .

Is that slipway useable at any stage of the tide?
