Alexandar did not attack Bharat/India after seeing the large army of Chandragupta Maurya but yes before that Porus did fight against Alexander and got defeated but acknowledging the great fight with considerable smaller army, he returned the throne after signing a treaty. Following that Indo-greek kingdoms start emerging and then you see Chandragupta Maurya married to daughter of General of Alexander known as Seleucus Nicator, his son Bindusara/Bimbisara had a step brother, a half Bharatiya half greek

    Jai Shri Ram 🚩⚔️🇮🇳...
Q: Why Alexander Retreat from India?
Ans: Stiff resistance by the Indian tribes decreased their morale even more. Thus, when the soldiers heard of Alexander's plan to march further east, they refused and almost mutinied. Thus Alexander was forced to halt his Indian expedition for good.

Alexander's army refused to fight beyond a point in India. Probably because they heard of even more powerful kings awaiting them. So he was forced to retreat. During that journey it's said he was struck by a stray arrow. Later he died from complications of this injury...

    Jai Shri Ram🚩⚔️🇮🇳...
Q: How did Alexander die ?
Ans: Alexander was a Heavy Drinker, stories suggest he was poisoned during one of his Drinking sessions, but No Concrete proof. Proposed causes of Alexander's death include alcoholic liver disease, fever, and strychnine poisoning, but little data supports those versions. According to the University of Maryland School of Medicine report of 1998, Alexander probably died of typhoid fever (which, along with malaria, was common in ancient Babylon).

  • @Sujoanghosh
    @Sujoanghosh 4 месяца назад +2

Alexander was forced to return towards his country as the soldiers were falling ill ,on his way back he died of illness . He didn't die in Bharat neither did the Bharatiya kings defeat him. Porus or Puru was defeated by Alexander but he decided to go back due to unrest within his army as the soldiers were falling ill and the provision was insufficient.

    Jai Shri Ram 🚩⚔️🇮🇳...
The massacre of Delhi in 1739 was a violent event that took place after Nadir Shah's invasion of the Mughal Empire:
    When it happened
The massacre occurred on March 23, 1739, in the areas where Nadir Shah's troops had been attacked the previous day.
    What happened
The massacre involved the killing and plundering of men, women, children, horses, camels, dogs, and cats. The Dariba, an area populated by jewelers and money-changers, was the worst affected. The massacre lasted for six hours and it's estimated that 20,000-30,000 people were killed.
    Aftermath
The bodies were buried in mass pits or cremated in large funeral pyres, and many were also thrown into the Yamuna River. The streets were littered with corpses for days. Nadir Shah also looted the city, taking the peacock throne of Shah Jahan, diamonds, and other precious items.
    Who stopped it
The massacre ended in the afternoon when Nadir Shah sheathed his sword after pleas for mercy from Mughal ministers.
Nadir Shah left Delhi on May 16, 1739, with a large amount of loot.
