tbh, if I were Obito, I'd rather to be obsessed with people like sakura than rin. Although rin is indeed a kind person and inclusive, it hurts quite a lot knowing that the person who cares most for you is in love with your friend stronger than you. You can't prove that you're stronger, but she will still be there to care for you no matter what. But in the end, you know that the kindness of hers is not exclusive to you only. To Obito, rin was his entire world, but just not a world he could live in. Sakura will just tell you straight up that she sees you as a friend, and provide minimal care, which makes it obvious that she's not into you. I felt really sad while looking at Obito's past, as I myself had experienced this before. I thought I was special, I thought I had a chance. But it was all for nothing. It's my fault as well. I shouldn't have fallen in love. I should've just backed away...
