- Syracuse city is a midsized town in New York State. I was there for a visit to probably the most famous site in the city, Syracuse University. I liked the place, it has great food, good museums, some unique architectures.

Syracuse is a city in and the county seat of Onondaga County, New York, United States. It is the fifth-most populous city in the state of New York following New York City, Buffalo, Yonkers and Rochester.
At the 2020 census, the city's population was 148,620 and its metropolitan area had a population of 662,057. It is the economic and educational hub of Central New York, a region with over one million inhabitants. Syracuse is also well-provided with convention sites, with a downtown convention complex. Syracuse was named after the classical Greek city Syracuse (Siracusa in Italian), a city on the eastern coast of the Italian island of Sicily.
Historically, the city has functioned as a major crossroads over the last two centuries, first between the Erie Canal and its branch canals, then of the railway network. Today, Syracuse is at the intersection of Interstates 81 and 90. Its airport is the largest in the region.
Syracuse is home to Syracuse University, State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University, SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry, and Le Moyne College.

I grew up just outside of Syracuse. I haven’t lived there in over 25 years. I hated the weather there but now after being in a place with pretty constant sunshine and mild winters, I miss the big change of seasons. How I crave a mix of cloudy and sunny days, rainy days and real snow like central New York gets.
Thanks for posting this video. I’m making a big change of moving to Syracuse and buying my own home but it looks like a ghost town. Pretty scary I didn’t know. Good thing to see before I make the move
I guess it depends on where you are coming from. Syracuse is definitely not the biggest city :D
I lived in Syracuse, unfortunately can’t recommend living there
@@singh5004 oh I'm thinking about moving there, what are the main issues with it? And are there any positives
@@Ethan_23287 crime, weather and just depressing towns around . I hope it helps you make the right decision.
Don’t move here. It’s awful.

Great video
It's a rough town. I grew up there
That eStablishment is actually called bar. Why they called it that I have no idea. It kind of reminds me of my uncle who named his black lab Dog. And His tabby cat kitty kat.
Good video, what if I can't find an explanation for what happens to the bus that passes at minute 12 of the transmission, where did the bus that happened go?
The place is like a ghost town. Sad 😞
Covid! Most cities were ghost towns.

Which are the guspanic areas in this city?
A lot of snow and shootings in that town
This place feels like Philadelphia or I like to call it philly
No it doesn't. Philly isn't empty. And there's nowhere to walk to in Syracuse. I live in Philadelphia now and was born in Syracuse. They are VERY different
@@jacobwood1707 we got the corner stores nd delis to walk to, that’s about it tho💀.
@@AO-qj2zu I know, I grew up on the west side near Frazer lol and Syracuse is an absolute ghost town
I’ve lived here for 16 years and it’s awful. The people are unfriendly and rude. The weather is terrible. We are moving in a few years and I can’t wait.
Where are the 141,000 people
Campus, and inside our homes, we don't go outside unless its to party or work
Parking garages and closed businesses and completley misused funding .
All you are doing is trolling what used to be. Not anymore dude
Seriously downtown syracuse is a dump. It was a hot place back in the 1930s now its just a garbage heap.
I hate this city bro 😭
