I was always against putting kids on meds, but now I'm a preschool teacher and I just... get it. Education is a precarious situation. Even in the best of times, it's just barely functional. You can be SO fun and SO engaging, but if 2 out of 20 kids are dead-set on disrupting everything, there is almost nothing you can do. And the other 18 kids suffer because of it... so you're stuck with tough questions about the moral implications behind disregarding the 2 to save the 20, or having everyone fall behind to *possibly* benefit the 2.
In the 90s they seperated them and that was seen as bad. My son is in 1st grade and he has 2 in his class that disrupt. They are “in” the class but can go to another class of the become disruptive and they use to sit seperate at Lunch as they were chaos agents at lunch (I go have lunch every Monday with my boys) Now, as of January, the chaos agents sit with everyone but they have “handlers” that stand over them And control?!?! Them I guess? I think about how awesome it is they try to Include them and help them find a place but also the sheer amount of hamstrung resources that can't actually do anything they spend to monitor them. I have no solution but it all makes me sad and mad at the same time.
The feeling is involuntary, but you can 100% choose to react badly to it and just let your brain spiral or else shut down and lapse into intense depression. One of the biggest things in therapy is learning to identify feelings as they arise and having healthy strategies to cope with them. Love and solidarity to all my GAD people. ✊
I like doing a checklist. Am I in danger right now? Soon? Am I breathing? Am I hungry? Then I ask myself what the hell my brain is thinking, giving me this bs
@@kalancosta7650 or alternatively, it's not funny unless you have a very specific reference point. You'll have seen this phenomenon before, I'm sure - the reason why The Office is alternatively either loved or hated (and no real in-between) is because it's funny if you've been in that environment because you recognize a lot of the cringe moments from your own experiences - but it's not at all funny as a stand-alone concept. This clip wasn't remotely funny. I don't know what environment you'd have to have been in to make it work as humor.
Don’t Tell Comedy and Chocolate Sundaes Comedy always make my days just a bit better, especially since you both post at the same time so it’s a wonderful two-fr’ ❤
One of the best sets from someone I wasn’t familiar with in a long time! 👏🏻 Incredible material here, great crowd interaction, awesome presence on stage. Looking forward to finding more!
1st grade: I start drinking coffee with my parents in the morning, ADHD going wild. I ask my teacher in school if the coffee she drinks is any good like I was about to get one myself.
hey, ADHD is not a learning disability. it is a neurodevelopment disorder. We have no problems with learning. It's how people teach and the rigid structure of public schools in the US that are the problem.
I'm gay and my liberal parents were genuinely supportive and have been wonderful to my husband. I think the were disappointed that I wasn't going to give them grandchildren, but I think that's a fair thing to be disappointed about. Down the line, we may adopt.
Wow, I'm blown away by this set! Loved her flawless transitions between stories - definitely kept my attention without needing my Adderall. New fan here!
This was great. I loved all of it, jokes and delivery, but the adderall material (which i have no experience with) was some of the most insightful comedy I've seen.
She's an excellent story teller.
Totale agree
Meh
She got me with the Siri-husband bit! 😂
Bit Was After Siri Husband 😂💞💫
I was in the upper deck for Jim Abbott’s no-hitter! 😂😂😂
I was that guy😅
My transition definitely saved the women in my life
holy crap shes fantastic, that was an amazing set! like she didnt miss a beat there!
“I rescue him every morning with a CPAP machine” im crying 😂😂😂

Well said. We need to change the model, in the big picture.

Looks like you’re very close to understanding the punchline of the joke…
@@SPiRALHORN they acting like folks coming to standup videos for factual statements 😂
It's not a choice, it's a consequence of your choices
Absolutely loved the sister liberal parent bit xD had me rolling
Must be one of those 'lived experience' jokes, because there's nothing intrinsically funny about it.
@@MichaelJohnson-kq7qgit was funny but you just didn’t get it

@@brendatomlinson they have amazing people on stage even if the videos aren't as long, such a great channel ♥️
She had me weak the whole set ! 😂😂😂
I thought I had the most conservative parents in the world but when I came out as a woman, it turned out I was completely correct 😭
I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you can find support and acceptance elsewhere. ❤
The spraying cologne then walking into it 100% came from the original Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Good on him !
You're supposed to do that? I always spritz a bit on my bare chest and call it good.
Hahaha I was thinking “sounds like expert application”
She probably knew that and was like "this guy is zesty"
Spray. Delay. Walk away.
Funny tho. My mother n aunties told me about this when I was quite young

Caffeine suppresses hyperactivity in individuals with ADHD, it wouldn't make you more hyper
Well I don't wanna get bit! Really got me 😂😂
This set slapped so hard! Man I love how many comedians I find through don’t tell, y’all really don’t miss

Fr, I was top of my class with adhd only because I took the base class lesson and taught myself in a different way using the internet.
Girl, you are gorgeous and hysterical. You did such s fantastic, top notch set. Would love to see more of your comedy and stories 😍 Happy New Year!

🤖
I like her storytelling flow, I'm gonna look up more of her sets
hi... we are literally watching this together, and upvoting at the same time
This _entire_ set had me laughing my ass off!!!! I also liked how she’s talking about men, and there’s a Dr. Squatch display right behind her. 💀
Rachel Williams is fantastic. Hope to see much more.
The ending hit me hardddd 😂
The hiking analogy was cool.
😂😂😂😂😂 Rachel Williams is a beast lol
Solid set, can’t believe I’ve never heard of her before today!

Wow. She is authentically hilarious! Didn’t miss a beat. I would love to go to one of her shows.
That was absolutely amazing! What a set
5:44 I love how she talks about multiple pronouns short circuiting her brain, and then proceeds to use multiple pronouns flawlessly.
She’s good! Hope to see more of her,
She absolutely killed this.
Loved it!
Absolutely love the stand-up. Minor twist. I watched this video right after watching a David Goggins video about running so it is super relevant.
I usually find stand up comedy that’s not live really irritating but she had me cracking up and I watched the whole thing
Hilarious!!! New superfan over here ❤
😂😂😂 Awesome seeeet!!! 👏👏👏
NEED MORE OF HER
So many great comedians out there now a days. She killed it❤
Rachel Williams is hilarious 😂😂
She's so hilarious!!! #ThankYouAlgorithm!!!🤣😅😂

I was just thinking about Jim Abbott's no hitter last week. I feel kind of called out.
This was great. I loved all of it, jokes and delivery, but the adderall material (which i have no experience with) was some of the most insightful comedy I've seen.
Ok, as an asthmatic I can tell you bringing a bulldog on a hike is animal cruelty. I’m serious.
As a native Long Islander, I loved her from the moment she referred to us all as trash. ❤
That was so fun I wish it was longer
I like the causal fit
I died when she mentioned David G. 💀💀💀💀!!!
Yay a Vermonter!
Thanks
Her mom, gen z girls, and her inner monologue all have the same voice that nobody actually has
Omg she’s so GOOOOOOD!!!!!
Love Rachel! Hope she is a hit.
Talented!
I like how liberal just means not racist in this story
Loved the set; she's got a new fan!
So good. More please.
Incredible set!!!
Excellent set!
The three black people they kept cutting to just staring was the funniest part about this set
