Hope you enjoy this hilariously priced IWC inspired pilot watch. You get what you pay for, but I was definitely surprised to see an automatic for so cheap on a site like Amazon, WITH prime shipping. Usually, you're lucky to find an automatic watch this cheap from sites like Ali-whatever. Let me know what you think, or if there's another watch you'd like me to review! If you have any questions, ALWAYS feel free to let me know, I respond to every comment!
Nice overview, the Case material = Polished Stainless Steel (its not plated), Hardlex glass, "Shanghai movement" (ST17 family remake) 17 jewels, 21600bpm, 36hr reserve, non-hackable Basically same watch movements "Sea-Gull" used in its "Arctic" automatic
Fanmis is the seller. I’ve had two of these for about three years and they simply work flawlessly in fact every Winner watch I have purchased has worked and performed flawlessly. The strap it comes with is definitely a remove and replace. Nice review
Thanks for the clarification, that makes a lot of sense. And good to know these have held up! Honestly, this has sat in a drawer after wearing it scarcely for a couple of months, so it's good to get your longer-term insight on how it has fared. Thanks for watching.
The price on these was hard to beat; but I had a strap pin break after 6-8 months on one (the mineral glass shattered when that happened). I bought a 2nd one (so cheap), put a nylon strap with new pins on it, had that one for about a year, and had the setting/winding stem pop out on me and go missing. While it worked, the 2nd one would lose about 2 minutes in a day, and I had to adjust it accordingly. I think I typically moved enough that hand winding wasn't so much a thing for me, despite the cheap rotor on it.
firstly can i say i,m pleased you posted this as i have one and was pleasantly surprised, looks more than the 12 quid i paid for it,yeah the straps cheap n nasty but does the job,i swapped it out for a perlon & nato (looks the part),the self wind isn't that great so you may get a day surface sat if you're lucky but i generally wind it daily anyhow as i actually really like for what it costs & time keeping is reasonable avg; +10-15 sec ish a day, water resistance is not good iv'e tried it at work under a tap so no shower! possible light hand washing with care, case size is 41.5-42mm and wears quite well. i don't believe the case is stainless i'm sure its alloy, the back probably stainless? Hey its a 12 quid hand wind auto, i'm surprised how much wrist time this one gets so can't grumble....yet?! ; -)
I just found out about self winding watches. I was going to get a Seiko, but I don't have 125 to spend on a watch right now. But then I looked, and found thw Vigoroso, and it was 27. Gone up in price, but still insanely reasonable. Almost all the reviews were possitive. I didn't know how to set the date or wind it manually, so I found this channel. I liked your video, and I think I'd like yo see more. Subscribed.
It doesn't have much of a reserve but that Chinese standard movement keeping fairly accurate time. I have one. I only put it on when I know I'm going to be very rough work.
I have quite a lot of mechanical watches everything from seamaster to cheap Chinese ones. Several of them are catastrophes - but the watch I use daily is actually a winner, that is it's s Winner also in name. It have worked great for years - the plating is still mint. The main drawback is the automatic function doesn't work that well as the spinning disc has the wrong balance of weight to move correctly and only rewinds itself minimally
Any update on this watch? For the price I mean why the heck not just pick it up but at the same time I wear all my watches and keep them in rotation. I’d like to know how it’s held up in terms of function.
I bought a winner automatic watch years ago and it had very poor quality control. The glass fall on me the back case was open the winner logo was lose the sticker had no glue. It's broken right now.
It died about 6 weeks after my previous post lol.. ah well what can i say, the stem broke from the gears so can't set it but it still runs pointlessly .
That's how automatic watches work, they need a certain amount of power to keep them running for X amount of time. Decent watches can usually run for 40hours or more before stopping, but cheap watches like this are always questionable and their lack of a power reserve is one of the reasons it's so cheap.
Nice review... case on cheap mechanical chinese watches are always zinc alloy on whatever-the-color plating. Automatic rotor on these watches are pure cra**! Just for show. You have to hand wind it about 5 times a day so it won't stop.
AAAANNNNDDDDDDDD bought. I can tell this relationship is going to cost me a very reasonable amount of money for many watches... BTW, how about a review of the Parnis GMT? Sapphire, ceramic bezel, gmt in a few colorways.
Hahahahaah, that's how it goes! Enjoy your little junker. I haven't been wearing it much, but every time I see it in my watch box, it just has a "wow" factor about it. Like "wow", I can't believe they're starting to make a kinda half decent watch so cheap. Not the best, but still beats fashion watches, imo! I've been hesitant to buy the Parnis GMT as I've only been mostly reviewing watches I'd actually buy, and the only reason I haven't bought the GMT is because I own a Steinhart w/ Black Ceramic and an SKX009 for my Pepsi needs, so I felt it'd be a little redundant in my collection. BUT, it's a GMT with great specs, for a great price, and now they come on jubilees. I'm a sucker for jubilees. Honestly, it's only a matter of time. I already have a Parnis Daytona on the way, too! Thanks for the suggestion, Chad. I'll keep the GMT on my radar for the near future.
I bought one of these through Amazon. I bought it knowing that I wasn't going to be dealing with a Rolex or even an Invicta. This thing runs ridiculously fast. I can check it three or four times and it will be running 15 minutes, 30 minute and even an hour fast. Save your money and buy something better.
@@yourikhi You might be right, I've just typically seen these referred to as Arabic numerals in the watch community. I will keep that in mind and do some more research. Thanks for making me aware.

How about now?

Pretty impressive. Do you have an idea what the model is
I've had my 2 Winner watches for about 10 years and they are
still working well. For the price , you can't beat 'em.

Really glad to hear that

I've had mine for 5 years or more, still going strong and still reasonably accurate.
it's still working? I plan to acquire one
Did you do a follow up?
Have one.... Doesn't keep good time. Tried winding and now calendar function has died too..... Looks good but ultimately useless!!
is the watch still working well? thank you for answering me my brother
my winner is still working after 4 years. surprising i know.

how is the watch today, does it still work? I just bought one and I want to know if it's worth it!

I haven't worn it at all, but it still runs, after sitting in my drawer for many months.

It loses/gain how many minutes a day?

Lollll yeah! I thought it was the power reserve, but you're right, it's probably the rotor. Definitely poorly built, but still fun for how cheap it is
I actually have one of these watches , it works for around 24h when fully winded and not worn

22mm

One correction numbers are not Arabic .. they are Indian..
I'm sorry? I always thought they were called Arabic numerals.

Chronometer Check they literally stole the books when they ruled over india...funny enough they never accepted 0&1 as a number on its own..
