Two champions that you didn't mention but that I'm strongly considering: Venom and Black Cat. My r2 Venom has been SHREDDING ever since I ranked him up. He's not the flashiest but he gets the job done. Likewise, I love my 6* Black Cat. I think she was the first champ I ever ascended but I simply couldn't pull the 7*. However, I just opened a Loyalty crystal and finally pulled her, so that settled who I'd use a potential skill gem on. Or it would have, if you hadn't been rude enough to mention how an r3 Mantis would be cool. Suddenly I'm doubting myself because I really did use to enjoy Mantis back when 7*s were first released. She was my first pull and I used her a ton. The reason I haven't used her as much lately is that the healthpools have run away from her, but ranking her up would solve that problem. Overall, I've had some absolutely filthy luck lately. My three latest 7* pulls have been Photon, Silk and Black Cat, all of which could be in the running for a 2-3 gem depending on which class gets it. If I get a science one, I'll have to choose between Hulk, Photon and Silk. That'll be...hard.
@@julienl.3327 Yeah, she's a beast. The only thing that's sad (in a "sad" kind of way) about a newly-pulled 7* Black Cat is that I don't have access to her awakened ability. I didn't realize how powerful it is until I took my 6* to sig 200 and saw that I could evade almost every special attack in the game. You're basically immortal in Battlegrounds unless you screw up majorly.
I took photon unduped to r3 over hulk sig 60 and I don’t regret it, if you get science I recommend photon, she’s good at r2 but you reeeaaallyy feel the jump to r3.
Hulk at r3 is crazy. Hulk at r3 with suicides on should be illegal. It’s actually mind blowing how good he is since his buff. I mean to me…best 7* at r3 in the game. High health pool, some utility, and so much damage you almost can’t fail. There’s no better feeling than knowing you can’t lose lol
I feel like when you make these videos you only make them for like the tippy top players (who probably don’t care about vids like this to begin with) and/or players that only care about bgs. Bgs aren’t the only game mode and while (even for me) they are a consideration for a rank up, they aren’t my only consideration. I feel like ranking a purely defensive champion for one of your first r3’s is one of the worst moves you can make. Sure, they might be good in bgs (if they don’t have a counter) but so are dual threat champions (who are twice as useful as a pure attacker or pure defender) and pure attackers, so why not rank one of them that you’ll use everywhere? To me, for my first rank ups, i always try to go with dual threats because you are getting the most bang for your buck. To each their own, and if you like to rank champs that you don’t even actually play and you just set on d, then go for it, but i dont know that everyone else does or should have that outlook.
You’re right. My first R3 was Shuri. An excellent duel threat champ and in my opinion is one of the best 7 stars and the best tech champ. So definitely do your own research and decide who you like the most in your roster
I have an r3 awakened sunspot. Honestly much better than r2. It’s not overkill. There are fights ending in one sp2 that definitely wouldn’t have if I left him at r2.
As the owner of a r3 Shocker I can highly reccomend him hes a beast he 1 shots Meastro and Onslaught in war and bgs for me. Im highly debating who my next r3 will be Im thinking either Hulk or Photon or if I dup Morbius it will be him 100%
It drives me nuts when a player says. They dont need rank 3 there good enough at r2 blah blah. I respect your opinion but I personally followed that advice for years from other players. Dont rank 5 they are good enough at r4. Well thats just bad advice. Not everyone is metal sonic dude destroying content with a 3* she hulk lol. By all meens max out any champ to pull the full potential out of them no matter what the "pros" say.

I’m trying to give you advice on the most bang for your buck when it comes to a rank up especially rank 3s since we don’t get many and with limited resources all the more important to rank the correct champions. Killmonger will be my first skill R3..He always gets me the W in BGs. He either outright beat opponents, or drag the fight out long enough for me to get the time bonus. I laugh when people choose mutants thinking they have the advantage. KM imo is a two way champ as he can be effective on offense as well especially unstoppable.

Have a R3 duped Professor X. In my opinion best X Magica attacker. In particular with mutant powerboost. Bullseye, Killmonger, Gorr, ... Professor X don't care. (Except Serpent, or node 40 and 49) Very underrated in my opinion.

I am almost completely FTP. I have legend and all of act 8 complete. Yet I’m still holding on to my gem because I have so few dupes. I think the community is very similar and we still need videos delineating ranking duped vs unduped.
I actually disagree with you on skill class. I actually think it’s the second strongest class right behind science. Mantis, Crossbones, Shangchi, Korg, Killmonger, Bullseye, Blackcat, Masacre, Chee’ilth, Attuma, and even Falcon (despite him being kinda boring to use). All of these champs are viable r3 candidates imo.

And she can block unblockable like the Woe nebula, you can parry the whole match. She has untapped utility and great damage and control

If I get the Science gem, I would not hesitate to put it on my recently acquired Hulk. I know he needs the awakening but I just love using him and he's one of the best reworks in the game
In agreement mostly. Feel you were a bit skimpy on the cosmic side. Venom would be an awesome 2 way in rank 3. And has that great synergy with Scorpion, so more value around the contest. Those 2 cover phenomenal ground in questing, etc. I can see Gamora. Total nuke. Incredible all over the contest. Also a rank 3 Terrax would be such a massive pain on D awakened. And incredible on offense. About Titania and Juggs. I get that. And by time rank 4 and 5, will be more common. But you talked about rank 6 eventually. So I’d say go for it if have. I actually have both Dust. And just pulled Onslaught. I’d say mostly HAVE fun. If you aren’t valiant yet and get your least wanted class, go for the most fun one. Was lucky on those crystals. Have an sig 40 shocker. I kind of want tech to take him up. My current hulk and America rank 3 don’t always get banned. Another use of a high rank 6 star defender like Serpent is they can eat up bans and get to use the rank 3.

I am almost completely FTP. I have legend and all of act 8 complete. Yet I’m still holding on to my gem because I have so few dupes. I think the community is very similar and we still need videos delineating ranking duped vs unduped.
I actually disagree with you on skill class. I actually think it’s the second strongest class right behind science. Mantis, Crossbones, Shangchi, Korg, Killmonger, Bullseye, Blackcat, Masacre, Chee’ilth, Attuma, and even Falcon (despite him being kinda boring to use). All of these champs are viable r3 candidates imo.

… for Necro got skill r3 gem. Korg sig 60 to r3…. Today finished 8.4 skill gem again… now Bullseye to r3…. At least the last two titan crystals were back to back bullseyes so it makes it a little less painful…. I don’t climb high in BGs but maybe I should try.
I have rank 3 Venom for cosmic class… he is beast… i could use him for almost every fight on 8.4 100%… opponents just melt if you have deep wounds and Venom relic…
I have only 1 mystic currently now on my entire 7* that's Wong 😢 hope I don't get mystic 😂
If I get a science i have Titania, Hulk Photon for r3 easily the best class Sandman is good too but he isn't on their level
My dream would be to find a mystic gem and pull The Destroyer from the titan crystal 😅 (or a mutant gem and pull Onslaught) But I already know it will be impossible lmao

Science: Photon or Spider-Ham (They are my only 7* rank 2s)
Skill: Elsa Bloodstone
Mystic: Mojo (i have him awakened)
Cosmic: Gamora (or Hyperion if i dupe him)
Mutant: Classic Storm
Tech: Howard the duck or Warlock
I don't have too many 7*, I think I'm sitting at 25ish. I feel lucky to have a r3 option in every single class, however I want to skip mystic if I can cause I already have r3 Chavez.
Kinda of starnge you say titania is so good and still you dont reccomend her to r3. I took her to r3 and she is absolutely amazing. No rival can stand against her.
Well i was the lucky one, because i got the 2>3 tech gem again and i literally have noone to use it on. I guess i will have to wait for 4.7. to maybe get warlock or red skull😢

Cosmic- Vox or Knull
Mystic- Sasquatch or Werewolf by Night
Science- Hulk or The Overseer
Skill- Korg or Killmonger
Mutant- Domino or Prof X- my favorite Bullseye counter.

I just pulled (7) 7* crystals today my son did for me and we got in order Gaurdian,Odin,Sasquatch,Domino,Luke Cage,WereWolf, and then we got Silver Surfer 😢 but HEY for my very first 7 Stars ever ID SAY it was a pretty SOLID /(7) for my VERY FIRST EVER 7 Stars!!! IM HAPPY!! Today’s Deals were INSANE STRAIGHT AMAZING I hope they do it more often deals like this such an amazing deal compared to there usually rip off ones I haven’t even had my account for a FULL month yet and am already at 1.1 mill for my Account hero Rating I’m about to go HARD on this account 🎉 can’t wait to see what the game has in store and what Kabaam has in store for future deals hope they do these hot deals more often!!

@@deepeshjohnekka2161 yea man, Star Wars is right. Because she gains power from placing those buffs, most times she’s at an sp1 before the opponent, you can nuke anything thats not incinerate immune. And she can block unblockable like the Woe nebula, you can parry the whole match. She has untapped utility and great damage and control

Venom would be an awesome 2 way in rank 3. And has that great synergy with Scorpion, so more value around the contest. Those 2 cover phenomenal ground in questing, etc.

My current hulk and America rank 3 don’t always get banned. Another use of a high rank 6 star defender like Serpent is they can eat up bans and get to use the rank 3.
No, you can’t use the same champion in BGs ie. 6* and 7*
