I am a Korean hiker with 13 years of mountaineering experience. I used to hike with an Arc'teryx Aerios 15 L backpack, but after switching to this product, my moving speed in the mountain became faster. Very useful.
Fantastic system but I *really* think you should make a slight change. Get rid of the elastic water bottle pouches and instead put PALS webbing in their place. That way the user could put whatever pouch they prefer there, and you could “upsell” them custom pouches (make a couple bottle & accessory pouches to fit).
Helikon Tex Thank you. Another reason I omitted: elastic pockets eventually lose their elasticity and sag. Another reason why you should ditch the pocket. If not, go with a user-replaceable shock cord/cord lock system instead. Like the one you have that hangs freely to secure bottle, but also add one through the top of the pocket in a channel specifically designed for shock cord. That way if the shock cord starts to go bad, the user just pulls it out and replaces it. MOLLE/PALS webbing there would be better though. PS: I am REALLY enjoying your designs. I am a long time hiker/backpacker/survivalist and have used tons of gear from TAD Gear, Spec-Ops Brand, Maxpedition, 5.11, surplus U.S. Army gear, Kifaru, Tactical Tailor, et cetera... and your gear is as well thought out and as good as the best of them. Very impressed with your designs. Looking forward to buying a lot from you henceforth.
Hell yeah. Im using it with the seatpad, Essential Kitbag, the new dump pouch and the canteen pouch are all together for my long Dog walks and Hiking Tours. Its fucking perfect, a four season Equipment. Many thanks for this awesome gear
An awesome piece of kit.I do wish it had more MOLLE on the belt. Another 4 rows would be great. It shows the bottles and canteen in the pouches. Will the pouches hold a canteen cup or bottle cup? Also, was that the wind shirt strapped to the top of the foxtrot? Nate
Man i was researching bags and this seemed like it was it, however the old design. Direct action helicon tex foxtrot mkll bag was superior on looks and utility. Is there any way to get that version?
Love to see one just a bit bigger! Love the price! I use an old military version for turkey hunting back country! Keep survival gear in it! Why do I use that system? So I can where a decoy pack on my back. Just to give you another reason why people would choose this system over a backpack. I attack box and pot calls to the D-rings on the shoulder straps. I think I might need a bit more room in the pack. I like the mollie capability on the belt.
What is a 'four pack of band adjustable eyelets'? I'm sorry, but all I see are two velcro straps. Also, what is the single row of molle webbing at the top for? Is there a way to attach a Camelback or a small knapsack higher on the back..?
You can join this MOLLE whatever you want. There is no attachment function for a backpack. You choose the Foxtrot when you don't need to take anything bigger, i.e. a backpack.
Hy. From Helikon are also Molle - Adapter available. I have attached one with Power Glue to the Back of the Chestrig. Now i can put it on my Spetznaz Molle Belt are any other Molleplate. The belt you can hide then.
May I ask, what model is that morakniv holster? is that a pocked you can add on to the regular kniv holder or is it a full piece I can buy? I need it :D
I'm really surprised five years later Helikon Tex still haven't fixed a lot of the issues with this belt rig. The water bottle pouches are too small, you can't fit a US military water bottle in them and then you have to take it off to access them. The straps are abrasive and thin. Who in their right mind decided to use Velcro. Velcro is noisy and wears away. A much better idea would be using the adjustable British yoke system. The belt should be removable as well to upgrade. Modular, that's the key to all modern military ideas. Velcro everywhere. Velcro is every soldier's enemy. This pack would be great if it was used by your enemy so you could hear them a mile away. The idea is great. It has been very poorly implemented and even worse that is the fact they haven't updated it in over five years. NO soldier I know with basic fieldcraft skills uses this kit.
Yeah it's nice but there out of stock and they dont know when there getting more in stock,so how do you rate? And why do you keep promoting this product? If you know where to get one other than the maker, please let me know if not, quit promoting this product
They keep promoting this product, because they *are* the manufacturer and it's *their* product. This is Helikon-Tex's own channel!! As for stock, right now they have Black, Adaptive Green and Olive Green available. Coyote is sold out, but enter your email and they'll let you know when it's back in. Failing that, Heinnie Haynes, Amazon and Military1st all have stock, too...

Bought a bag similar to this from Amazon. It came with a shoulder strap.
Perfect, exactly what I was looking for and also in coyote, I love it. Absolutely awesome when hiking.
Thanks for feedback! :)
I would love to see the stock suspenders connect with helikon bags like the marmot 10L

This stuff is out of stock now. When is it available ?
Will the side pockets fit a canteen with cup? The canteen looks to be a tight fit.

Could you wear one of these with one of your chest rigs?
You can wear them, but you can't connect them with straps.

now, please release this fine bag without belt and Molle/Pals compatible. i already have good belt, but need medium/big size bag.

How did you attach the pack to the chest straps?
Can this be worn while wearing a plate carrier?
Probably yes... but this is bushcraft/outdoor bag.
Same question here
Just looking for a bag i could use with and without a plate carrier
I like that belt rig
Nice to hear that :)
What’s the knife setup?
Closest thing was the ESEE model 6 sheath

...probably this model not for soldiers.
It's not aimed at soldiers, but at civilian hikers.
How long is the belt?
When will this be available (green preferred color)?
I'm in the U.S. and have looked but can't find any in stock, even on your website! Thanks, James
