It's interesting, there are really similarly sounding words to Hungarian ones, like uusi (new), is új, elläin (animal) is állat, koira (dog) is kutya, käsi (arm) is kar, silmä (eye) is szem, käsi (hand) is kéz, sydän (heart) is szív, suu (mouth) is száj, vyö (belt) is öv, ateria (meal) is étel, voi (butter) is vaj, kala (fish) is hal, mitä? mikä? (what?) is mi? mit?, milloin? (when?) is mikor?, miksi? (why?) is miért?, vastaus (answer) is válasz, kysymys (question) is kérdés, talvi (winter) is tél.
@@trappaskunk They are not the same anymore. Different dna. Different looks different characters. I have met them a lot. They are oppisite almost on everything. I wish finns were more like them. They are great ppl.

Norsu (elephant) is a funny word as it is a loan from a Sami language.
The Sami are kinda Asian and probably saw elephants or maybe mammoths Lol !
@@kjsmith7472 It is related to Mursu (Walrus) which is of some origin. They were known for ivory. Nobody knew what the animals looked.
