I bought my mower new and have always had the problem of my wheel locking up when I turn it all the way to the left or right. Is it possible the tie rods were installed incorrectly when it was assembled?? Love your videos!
Probably. I forgot if I took the wheels off to get a better camera view, or if I took them off because they were just in the way. My guess is you can do it without taking them off... 😊
Too often, people fail to explain nuances. No mention of how tricky it is to align the steering wheel column to attach the rack holder. I would recommend lightly gluing the pinion to the rack holder to make it easier to lign up for installation. The glue will easily break away upon steering. Takes two people, one to wiggle and turn the steering wheel when aligning the rack holder. That bushing, yeah, its hex end needs to be pushed into the cowel from underneath, which is why you need the second person to help align the steering wheel and it's shaft, wiggling it nose to tail helps. The area the U shaped rack holder mounts to is not parallel to the ground, more like a 45 degree angle. I wasted time thinking it was parallel to the ground. I gave up after 90 minutes, will call the repair shop tomorrow. Would have been easier for me it just buy a new riding mower. I earn that much in about three days.
Great video! Thanks for the tip about low front tire pressure affecting the steering parts.
TYSM for the great feedback. You're welcome, glad to help!
Excellent, informative, extremely helpful, detailed, clear, demonstrative, useful. 😉👍🏻🙏🏻✝️🇺🇸

HI, yes that's possible. Have you looked at the linkages to see if there's anything that stands out?
Me too.
