My daughter and I can close ours in under 5 minutes after having this rtt for about a year. I don’t think I could go back to a ground tent either. My hardware came loose also so I’m gonna loctite the new set. Last time we went out I got a 8” rechargeable fan that I ran at night and it was the first time we got no condensation, time will tell if it helps. I got a 3x5 movie screen we hang on the back wall with a small projector and dvd player or firestick. Also a 12volt electric blanket for when it’s cold, everything ran off a couple solar power stations. The only thing I could come up with for that black mat was to stand on at the bottom of the ladder but I’ve never used it

I feel your frustration on the closing part , I just got the same one in and mounted it on my zr2 and came across the same problem of ticking it in

I believe those black rubberish bags are your shoe bags that hang on the front of the tent

The way she try to pull the ladders out is not really safe specially standing on top of the tires like that, and for you going on top of the truck tiptoeing is a slip away from accident
