My theory is: he created a sculpture of the woman and of the perfect version of himself and both versions came to life in his head. The story might be inspired from the Pygmalion story which is about a man who created a sculpture of a woman that fit his ideal picture of true beauty and Aphrodite turned the sculpture into a real woman. In Tae’s MV however, I feel like none of the people were real and it are all manifestations he made in his head (of both the woman and himself). At one of the ending scenes where the music stops you see Tae touching behind his ear and that’s where the signature mark is he always put on his sculptures, indicating he is a sculpture himself. The “dark” version of Tae is basically reality kicking in that none of it is/was real. Another masterpiece of art by our Kim Taehyung. Idk if i explained it well but this is my interpretation of it. Doesn’t mean it’s necessarily the right one 😅 I don’t always understand his MVs but that’s what I like about them. They encourage me to think more deeply about it which I love. And Yes, Tae’s art has something dark to it and sinister sometimes which I fvcking love 😭
