Thank you for your time. This was a Bulk submission, with a minimum grade of MS-63. We figured most would be that grade. A small group came back a little higher. Definitely happy. Glad you enjoyed...

Some of these look a lot better than 63’s.

Thank you for checking out my video. Yes, I fully agree. Unfortunately right now NGC is very inconsistent. The rejects look at least MS-63 and they didn't even get graded. Unfortunately when you submit, it can go to an inexperienced grader and the submitter looses.
Turned in a bunch of new stuff, will do more videos. Thank you...

If you are a member of NGC for decades and paid them big $$$$ for service, and you are a licensed dealer then they can work for you , but if you are non of above NGC will make grades down for regular citizens.

    • @johnz-man4754
      @johnz-man4754  8 месяцев назад

@@thinkdifferently9870, thank you for the comment. 1st, I have been a member for a little over 10 years not decades. I pay them their fees to have coins graded. I appreciate your opinion but it is what it is. Not sure your meaning or point. Grading is subjective and its all good. I am a dealer and collector for 16+ years. Overall I am happy with the Grading companies and will continue to submit. Thank you again...

Hi, Thank you for checking out my video. It does seem that way but we actually expected it. These coins were chosen because they were MS-63 or possible MS-64. We are very happy with the results. Our higher coins are brought in on a higher tier submission.

You were moving very quickly, but I'd say a quarter to a third of the MS 63 box should have been 64's. They are being incredibly tough these days.

    • @johnz-man4754

Thank you for watching. Yes I agree, seems like they are being really tight. I think because of CAC grading, lowering a lot of NGC graded coins, they are trying to be over strict.
I will be re-submitting several on a standard tier and see.

There are so many gorgeous $ sized vintage silver coins from all over the world one can hunt for. A whole lot much more interessting than the Morgan $. South and middle american Peso, Sol, Real or the japanese iconic 1 Yen from the meiji era, british crown, german mark french franc etc. etc. etc.
I don't get it, why a collector would only be interessted in US 1$ coins

Thank you very much for watching my video. I agree, U.S. money for the most part are boring. There are early notes that have some beautiful artwork. But yes, U.S. coinage is not very interesting.
And YES, there is so many beautiful coins from all around the world. My personal collection has coins and currency from around the world. But, because I sell coins in the U.S., my primary market buys U.S. coins. So, most of everything I submit is coins for sale, they need to be U.S.
Hope that helped. Thank you again, hope you continue to keep watching my videos. Have a great day...

There are a lot of other coins that are nice but the Morgan and peace dollar by far the most iconic coins known in the world so if you live in US and want to sell coins US is way to go I only collect US coins and the older Mexican onza that’s all I like the look of others but I don’t know enough about other foreign coins to make smart purchases so I just stay out the way afraid I will mess up buy a fake or overpay

@@EricBynog-zd4rd how can you say "the Morgan is by far the most iconic", while stating not knowing anything about foreign coins in the same comment? I could pull at least a dozen far more iconic from the top of my head, than the somewhat boring Morgan $. If you don't want to get scammed, go to reputed dealers. There are even a lot of foreigners, minted in Philadelphia,
      1Peso Cuba 1915,16,31-33, 1Balboa 1931,34,47, 2½Gulden 1947 etc.etc
