  • I take a chance on Ardbeg's latest release, the circus themed Spectacular, aged in Port and Bourbon casks. Have they finally given us something worth the price?

I got the concierge notice for this as well but passed on it. I took some
Port wine and mixed it with my small Ardbeg wee beastie. In just don’t have $140 anymore for these specials. I’ll by Corryvreckan or the Uggie if on sale. I’m close to done with the brand. Thanks for taking one for the team and reviewing this

I love Ardbeg Ugi and Corry. I thought wee beastie with a 5 year age statement was decent and 10 seems reliable most of the time. I have yet to experience these endless releases with new name monikers.

Thanks for the review. The one special release I did enjoy was the BizzarreBQ. That said I have not tried An Oa or Corryvreckan, so one of those will be my next purchase

The Corryvreckan is so much better than the An Oa.

There are some beautiful special releases but BizarreBQ was definitely enjoyable! I buy some special releases but Ardbeg does charge way too much. Cheers!

Really like your 18 year reviews. Can’t wait for the PC18 review & 18 year wrap up & final rankings. Solid work(play)

Nice one Brian, I thought this might be good. I like to try these new releases from Ardbeg but I just don't have the energy or the budget to chase all of them so this is why we try to buy these bottles as a club. This is not available in my market yet but yeah I'd be curious to try it. Thanks for the review, cheers 🥃

I enjoyed this Ardbeg a lot but I don't think it's worth the cost, at least here in Canada. I got a couple so I will get to enjoy it for awhile. Some special releases are worth it but it's definitely very much hit and miss. I will always be a huge Ardbeg fan! The Corryvreckan is a higher ABV than the UIG. NAS scotch whiskies can be amazing so I don't worry too much about that. Thanks for the review!
