I was thinking about when this and the Rockn' Roll mashup, or just any male+female duet could be done in BTR, and now I REALLY want a scene where Bocchi and her father do a song together. Just imagine if her father's singing voice is provided by one of the AKFG? Edit: So I've been thinking about this idea more, and here's some plot I came up with (that doesn't fit anywhere in the timeline, currently). Bocchi and the others play at a concert and Bocchi flops after getting nervous; this time, however, she is left in a genuinely depressed state, finding herself unable to play the guitar as she thinks about the stress that is now connected to it. Her bandmates, seeing her anxiety, decide to bring someone in to remind her how to play the guitar, setting up a session where just the group will be playing with each other (Though, Seika and the other friends are actually listening the whole while without Bocchi's knowledge). Bocchi learns the "special guitar player" is just her father, and the two begin a duet version of Re:Re (Cue this video). As they get through the song, Bocchi begins to grow louder, play harder and at the very end, (here 2:56), Bocchi finally begins to smile again, her and her father finishing the song together (with Bocchi's voice droning longer than her father's just as it does here). Afterward, Bocchi learns everyone was listening to their duet, but the excitement of playing well and playing with her father allows her to ignore the possibly embarrassing situation and just be happy once again. Please make Bocchi the Rock Season 2 already...

Almost like a duet. I can vaguely tell the AKG is higher but I really liked the lower pitched version of Kessoku's version. Really sounds distinct from the original cover.
I didn't remember seeing the kessoku version of this before today...did it just come out? This mashup seems pretty much just tuning between each version of the track, feels like being on a swing? But i think you had to adjust the speed to match? Im not trying to disparage your work or anything-i certainly dont think i could have made this, so i apologize if my curiosity sounded like i was trying to pick it apart. I was enjoying this feeling almost like a band duet, which is not really something that anyone does. Didn't even realize there was a video component until it was over, so i was only musing about the audio part earlier. The video is pretty sweet too. Including the lyrics with the romanized version is always a great call, in my opinion. Overall i love this and I'll be back a bunch more times to watch\listen, without a doubt.
The Kessoku band version was released with the second compilation film also titled Re:re around August 10th, along with 5 other songs. To make this I isolated the instruments and lined them up since the arrangement was about the same. Both songs are in the same bpm so all that was need was adjusting the pitch, so the Kessoku band version was pitched slightly down and the AKFG version was pitched up. Both versions should be almost perfectly aligned. I play with the vocal panning so the vocals do move around a bit. Glad you enjoyed it though.
nah the og re:re by akg clears btr im sorry, unlike korogaru iwa which has bocchi's own uniqueness and can stand on its own as a covers that has characteristics, this re:re was not it since ive listened to the og for years now, the covers just not it
