    What type of plastic can I put over the electrical boxes?

    :22 "...which should have plastic, poly, and acoustical sealant to seal them." What kind of "plastic", what kind of "poly"? Why do we need both? What is the difference?

    Thanks for the tips. What about kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans? Any suggestions for sealing around these in the attic?

      From our Home Energy Coach: To seal around, disconnect the vent first, place the 6-mil poly sheet over everything, then cut the hole in it for the vent and put it back together. Alternatively, you can just cut the poly and tape it back together.

      You shouldnt have exhaust fans blowing into your attic😬
