If they're looking with bare eyes they won't notice it. However if they use a light, some small reflection from the lens might be noticable. Otherwise there's no indicators. Up close you can hear some quiet clicks as the device calibrates, but they're not too loud. If the person on the other side uses a thermal device, they could see it as the device produces some heat, like all others. But the animals will not notice it.
I bought one for rabbit shooting. At night can tell its a rabbit at over 75 yards. Deer, dog sized animals at a hundred or so. For the price it is a very good tool. Battery life is as advertised, I get over ten hours easily. Been dropped a few times, it is well made and tough. Very easy to use as well.

I attached a pic of the view through my phone (iPhone 13 max pro). With some more adjustments it would probably be fine. I would just use this by holding up to my eye and forget trying to capture pics through my phone. It comes with an attachment piece to your phone, a tripod, a lanyard, cleaning cloth and a holster that can be worn on your belt. Overall the image quality is good.
Some friends in Ukraine just got a box of these today in Kyiv. They're gonna let me know how they make out? Since the Russians, incredibly, appear to be using very little NV, it should be interesting.

Does it work further then 100m? Silly test walking left and right should have been going out in distance to see what its capable of

thermal has no light - but u cant look through glass
digital night vision i.r infrared has low red glow -- can look through glass
No other modes, only black - white?
It has 4 modes, white hot, black hot, red hot and fusion. White hot is usually the best and most legible, hence the video presumably

No, it's got a tiny receiver. Yes, but it's dogs balls and digital zoom so will wreck your shit. And not long enough.
