Thanks Steve! Looks like a great improvement. We have the X7. I'd love to see a sample architectural dataset from both X7 and X9 (and then how that compares to an RTC360)

Hey Troy, reach out to your local BuildingPoint Distributor. They should be able to provide it. If your not sure who that is let me know and I can point you to the right person.

does manul alignment mess with the accuracy. I need to 1/16'' accuracy for small space less than 500 sf.

Manual alignment has no residual but that likely doesn't really matter. It depends what question you are trying to answer. Scan point to scan point measurement/analysis is the as-built analysis and generally is what matters. How vertical is the elevator, how far is the mechanical pipe from the boiler, etc are questions that are usually asked and can be determined with scan/scan analysis. For 500sf, if the registration is good, the accuracy of the overall point cloud will be close to 1/16".
Manual alignment has no residuals. So scan to model data analysis is difficult to specifically analyze on one point. If you are looking for verticality, flatness, column locations or MEP installation, you can perform an inspection and visually see if all the elements are off. If they are, delete the inspection, manual align the scans, and inspect again. If the inspection shows most elements are
