DNA doesn't make a father I know that from experience I was estranged from my father for over 30 years and I always considered my step father my dad I eventually reconciled with my biological father before he passed and I'm glad i did.

yes but if you watch the last year of the show you will see that clint eventually accpted rex as his son and rex accepted clint as his father and they bonded clint was a good guy until Nora threw him over that changed clint

Nora didn't "make" Clint into a nasty person.
Clint was always corrupt, but kept it well-hidden until the 2000s.

I watched from 1992 through 1998 and am catching up on the 2000s.
Clint kept his cruel side well-hidden in the 1990s.
People generally don't go from being kind and sweet to mean and cruel for no reason.
Often narcissists hide their cruel side well for years, especially in the early years.

Why aren't Shane and Matthew at the wedding?
And God save me from Starr "crying"

Because Shane and Matthew don't care for Clint, Natalie, Jessica and John's nonsense.

      Natalie was never "redeemed."
She remained a nasty dodo, but learned to hide it better.

Starr went to visit Cole in prison. It was the only day of the month she could visit him. And I don't think Jack even cares. He was at a rebellious stage at the time. And it could've been a school day.
