Well, I'm new to RUclips but certainly not new to the niche perfume world. I've started my journey in the niche fragrance world over 12 years ago when I was living in Europe, which gave me access to deep dive in this wonderful industry I'm so passionate about.
👉🏾 LOVE YOUR STYLE WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR CLOTHES/ACCESORIES?
For the most part I shop online, I never go to the mall unless it's necessary. I like Zadig & Voltaire, Intermix, Revolve, WHBM, ZARA, J.Crew and Banana Republic for the basics. As for accesories, I love jewelry and most of the jewelry I wear is designed by me (see FAQ's).
👉🏾 DO YOU DE-CLUTTER FRAGRANCES?
As a fragrance lover, my goal is to keep a curated fragrance collection. When there’s something that I don’t truly love, or when it doesn’t play well with my skin chemistry, instead of keeping it just for the sake of adding up one more digit to my collection, I try to find them a better home 😍 and sell them on Mercari or Poshmark. I’ve currently quite a few there looking to find a better owner 😍. What an amazing review my dear friend! ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘 I couldn't agree more my pet peeve is when a perfume is named but the juice smells completely different 😂 Byredo has such beautifully simple and natural smelling fragrances 😍 I'm so intrigued about this fragrance now that you have reviewed it, you're such a bad influence but I love it 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you my dear! 💜 I can't stand those misleading names!!! like those fragrances with super seductive names and when you try them they're like cologne for babies and toddlers 😂. I'm sure you'll love this one, it's a clean rose not a jammy/sirupy/dark rose, pretty different as everything Byredo does. Sorry for my bad influence 😂 😂 😂 💜 💜😘💜
I also couldn't care less for Bal D'Afrique. I do love a lot of them though: 1996, Bibliotheque, Oud Accord, Rose of No Man's Land, Mixed Emotions, Slow Dance, and much more...
Of course! There are soooo many others from Byredo that are totally underrated and are absolutely stunning! I'm glad I'm not the only one 😝. By the way, I did an entire video just about Byredo in which I talk among other fragrances about Blanche and Bal D'Afrique, and a person made a comment saying that me praising Blanche over Bal D'Afrique was because I "might be" racist .....I had to read it two or three times to understand if it was a joke or if it was for real 😂 people take hypes way too serioiusly sometimes.

Do they even aware that Bal D’Afrique is based on the author’s perception of Paris in 1920 and Blanche is just a name? Probably, not. These folks are usually too illiterate and/or misled to know history/facts and can only attack and assault. Anyways, I’m on to watching your other videos!!😍😍😍

Have never heard of this house ,I do like the sound of the notes ,200 roses to make the Turkish Rose oil for one bottle is incredible and love the story of how they pick the flowers.

I’m not big into rose fragrances either, but this was really smells good. It’s pleasant and fresh, yet familiar somehow.

It’s always funny to hear hear other people describe fragrances because to me rose of no man’s land is a smooth woody rose. I smell a smooth wood masterfully blended with the rose. I don’t get aquatic at all.
This reminds me of Elizabethan rose by Penhaligon’s.
Yeah it’s interesting how we perceive the same fragrance in different ways. Now, by “aquatic” I don’t mean “marine” which they’re often confused. Thanks for watching 🥰🙏

Thank you dear 🥰😘 Byredo is one of the most different perfume houses out there and certainly not for everyone. I think you may like La Tulipe, Casablanca Lilly, Reine de Nuite and may be Flowerhead the rest are too “clean” for you (I kinda know your taste 😜)

Great video! In my experience many offerings from Byredo doesn't last that long. Not a deal breaker for me either. For me it is that they claim to be swedish. Don't have much to to with sweden more then it was founded here!

Yeah I get what you say about the brand being founded there but not truly representing Sweden but think about the regular consumer who lives outside of Sweden (and Scandinavia in general) we have an image (real or not) of clean lines, clean and minimalistic designs, clean scents, and I think the brand is aligned with the world‘s perception of what Sweden might look like (real or not). Hello Giselle, thank you for another great review. Are you familiar with an Italian perfume line called Nobile 1942? I have La Danza Delle Libellule (it smells like the most delicious apple pie) and Perdizionne, which is a magnificent floral. I highly recommend you try it, if you haven’t already 💐

Ohhhh then give it a try! I also love Rose Noir it's hard to tell you which is better. Rose Noir is deeper/darker, while this is a more clean type of rose. Very beautiful IMHO. 😍💜

I need to explore this house more thoroughly. Have only tried BdA and Black Saffron which were both absolutely euphoric, but just a bit too fem on me. Couldn’t get past some elements in each of them. That rose blend sounds magnificent. ❤️❤️

I couldn‘t find one single fragrance I like from Penhaligon‘s for example. Ultimately it has to work for us and with us, not against us 😜✨

Which other rose fragrance would you recommend? I’m seeking a Damask deep red rose scent I’ve bought other rose fragrance and they were more ‘ lemony/citrus ‘ which wasn’t suitable.
Do you like sweet, jammy rose fragrances or darker and drier type of roses?
@@GBFragrancesnot sure what a jammy type rose fragrance is ( don’t get out much ) but a replica of a deep dark rose is what I need. I’ve tried rose and oud but to me it had kicked out the true essence of the rose and for me spoilt the experience. That was too deep and earthy
@curtkneelove7354 usually, “Jammy” rose fragrances are sweeter and more feminine than the dark rose/oud/patchouli type of scents. May I ask what rose fragrances have you tried that didn’t work for you? Have you tried Rose D’Arabie. by Armani Prive or Rose Poetique by Manos Gerakinis? Also Carmina by Creed is gorgeous. 🥰
I forgot to ask, there’s a budget-friendly option that’s a gorgeous dark rose and you might like, it’s called Nirvana Rose by Elizabeth & James. It’s a dark and gothic rose fragrance, truly stunning 🌹

@@aidafares9268 Well, they're both beautiful, I honestly love both, but I'd say Rose of No Man's Land is a better blend, smells more expensive and it's more versatile. Rose Noir is more "dewy" and darker/deeper at the same time, while Rose of No Man's Land it's more delicate, more "ethereal" and slightly drier (both have that aquatic and clean note lingering in the background, typical from most byredo fragrances) but Rose Noir is more "dewy" and a bit more of a jammy rose. Not sure if I could answer your question or I've confused you more 😂 but long story short, both are great fragrances if you like roses. Rose Noir btw, is more similar to other rose scents you can find in the market, while Rose of No Man's Land is a bit different and is more unique.♥♥♥
