    I appreciate the simple and thorough explanations you provide for us. Watching the harvest growth and time lapse is very satisfying. Gives us hope that one day, our baby seedlings can grow up to look like yours too! 🌱

      Mix 2 table spoon honey in 250 ml water n spray on the flowers ...spray in the morning....this will attract pollinators n they will help in pollination...which will result in fruit setting

    Thanks a lot for the videos.
    I am writing to you from Kinshasa, DRC and I have three questions :
    1. What are some possible alternatives to coco peat in tropical environments?
    2. If you recommend sawdust or rice husk to replace coconut peat, what will be the proportions to be respected to have a good seedling medium for peppers, kale, lettuce, and green onions?
    .
    3. For a substrate that has already been used, some advocate mixing it with 30% compost to reuse it.
    If you agree with this recommendation, what will be the new composition of the substrate that you usually propose at 50-30-20 (garden soil, compost, river sand)
    Thank you

    I love and apply most of your videos because these are quite elaborate and informative.I have 4-5 Capsicum plants placed on terrace in full sun.Two of them have started flowering.Please advise if the plants are to be shifted in semi shade or full sun is O.K. ?
    Do I need to provide any fertilizer to ensure better flowering and healthy fruits?
    I live in Ghaziabad NCR Delhi.
    Thanks.

    • @urbangardeningofficial
      @urbangardeningofficial  3 месяца назад

      Keep them in full sun but make sure to keep the soil little moist at all times...otherwise they will burn out ....they can also do well near a big plant where they can receive good sun exposure for some time and as sun moves they get some shade from the big plant

    • @urbangardeningofficial
      @urbangardeningofficial  3 месяца назад

      For fertilization add cattle manure after every 12-15 days ...2-3 handfuls per plant and sea weed fertilizer after every 20 days (mix 10 ml in 500 ml water )

And what if I can’t find this type of soil used in this video can I use any other type of soil?

    • @urbangardeningofficial

    Its been 20 days snd my seeds have just sprouted to two or three leaves and are very small as compared to yours at 23 days. I have kept them in shade and not direct sunlight because the temperature here is 44 degree celsius. Please suggest what to do to promote fast growth

      This is not the perfect time to grow capsicum....July to Oct is the ideal time to grow capsicum seeds...feed them with vermicompost or sea weed fertilizer after every 7-8 days to promote fast growth

    • @mahamali5137
      @mahamali5137 Месяц назад

      @@urbangardeningofficial so I should just let them grow at their own pace till july? They are very little with only two leaves and hardly one or two true leaves just growing. I started the seeds in cocopeat and vermicompost they’re still in the trays not in pots.

    • @mahamali5137
      @mahamali5137 Месяц назад

      @@urbangardeningofficial also can you guide me a bit, two of my tomato plants were 1 month old and they died out maybe because of direct sunlight temp is 44 degree peak at 11-3 pm. Now I have 4 plants left and they’re also growing in the same spot but I’m afraid they might also die after awhile. They are growing in ground and not in pots or trays.
