Never thought any one can be as heroic as dutch until i saw royce in predators
Man... the Berserker really beat the s*** out of Royce (once he finally got ahold of him). Those were some *really* heavy hits.

Predators are very invincible when the plot demands it. Just a few seconds earlier, this Predator survived a simultaneous blast of six fragmentation grenades at close range, without even getting scratched by them. He stood up like it was nothing, he wasn't even bleeding.

Yep agree .....I’d like to see a sequel to this version with them trying to get back home and/or recruiting other soldiers to fight back gorilla style using predator weapons, now that would make for some seriously tasty action!

Best fight between a predator in the whole franchise. I wish they would’ve kept the wolf predators for the 2018 flim instead of using that overrated upgrade predator.
Ash the 2018 wasn’t all bad. I like how they brought back the government into the mix from the 2nd film and I love that new suit they showed at the end. I hope that they continue from this film but I also hope they bring back the story for the 3rd film
Ash the suit was cool, but you are also right. I didn’t like how it seemed as if they were less mysterious. It totally was a parody of iron ma with all the guys cracking jokes about everything. If there’s one good predator film it’s Alien vs predator requiem because it embodied the mysterious side of the predator to the max

I don't mind the Upgraded Predator tbh, I think it's really cool and fitting.
But it's the movie who doesn't do really well at making him good as it should.
If I'm right in the original plans there were not just one classic predator, but multiple. The movie would have been more about the classic predators trying to taking down the upgraded one wich I think could have been much better if done properly

I want them to make a Predator vs Predator movie with just Royce in it. Like in the comics more of the OG predators come down and give Royce their kind of amour but designed for only him with English translations in the helmet. You find out that the amour is controlled by a mind link which proves for these predators to shoot their energy weapons or pull their knifes out exc... it's all done by thought. So I think they should do a movie with Royce helping the OG predators go after the Berserker Predators. Could do a 3 OG ones vs the Berserker type and see how that outcome would transpire instead of 1 v 1 like in this movie. Could do epic battles an have Royce military experience and intelligence help them hunt down all the Berserkers or something like that. I just really wanna see them expand on this idea but in a better way with less dark fighting scenes or more predators vs predators cause what the fans wanna see js.

I want them to expand on the idea of space and different planets and have the predators hunt down the Berserker types. Cause when you see 3 of the regular predators get dropped off like in Alien vs Predator, you find out that those predators are only teenagers trying to get their right in passage. Same with alot of these predators we have seen besides a few. Most are teens or early 20s from what comics have told us. I wanna see the elder an badass predators work with Royce an hunt down the Berserker type threw space and different planets exc.. cause since Royce has the new suit and military experience it could make into a good movie. The latest movie was ok but again it was always 1v1, I wanna see like 3v1 to be fair or have like a war of the predators. I just want them to expand on this concept is all but in a better way was where I was getting at was all.

They call him a pianist, but I think he did a decent job, and I honestly feel that this is a decent finale for a good franchise that I loved a lot. Too bad that Predator Hunting Grounds was released on China Game Store.

All the weird things like aliens, creatures have green blood. I approve this scene.
Originally it was meant to be bright orange, KY jelly mixed with the chemicals from an orange cyalume stick (chemical light), but during the making of the original Predator they ran out and had to use the green chem light sticks instead, and it stuck. The SFX department had to reshoot some premade effects that featured the "orange" blood.
It’s funny because there are certain skink species that have green blood.
Royce would've died if Isabella wasn't there.

Isabella would've died if he wasn't there, lol. This is just plot armor, they wanted to make it look like the Predator was angry and wanted to punish Royce. If it was to be realistic, Royce could've slashed the Predator's chest with the axe, for example, instead of hitting him in the head with it, where he had an helmet.
Since you going be stuck in that island you mind as well keep that Berserker head in case the elder predator pops up.

The thing that annoyed me about this fight is, Royce had plenty of opportunity to disable the pred in this fight. First few hits could have incapacitated the predator with broken arms and legs and he wouldn't have gotten that nice little beat down at the end.
I think it would be cool if they did a AVP movie in the style of this movie

Why did seven frag and beating the predator with the ax have no effect earlier but one bullet and now hits with the ax after he's been beaten half to death by the predator is now effective?

Well the frag grenades may not have injured him much considering he’s wearing armour. (Fragmentation grenades injure/kill by getting hit with shrapnel from the metal as it explodes). Also the axe hits later on only became effective once the helmet came off. Up until that point that were just stunning it.
The axe is also made of some type of "alien" metal or alloy. It wasn't even effective until the mask finally came off.

That we all knew them two were gonna be the only two to survive the who thing at the beginning of the Movie
Horror/survival films are predictable about who will survive. Most always follow the rule that the main character survives. And if two people will survive usually the love interest is the second. Predator films have always had the main character and the female character survive. The only subversions of that was Aliens vs Predator where the female was the main character and sole survivor, Aliens vs Predator: Requiem where the main 4 men and women survive, and The Predator where the secondary protagonist (the main protagonist's kid) also survived with the main protagonist and female. In all of those cases it was not surprising who survived.

No Predator has ever been "legit" since the one from the '87 classic. THAT was the best Predator. The City Predator from P2 was a close runner up though. Those two are at the top.
AvP: Requiem had a 'great' Predator ... but that was the only worthwhile thing about those crossover flicks. AvP1 had fat, stupid, meatbags as "predators"... and don't get me started on the 2018 travesty. 😄

What i liked bout this scene.
No one liners. Just straight to business, you see the fucker that has hunted down you, your fellas and your soon to be lady at a disadvantage, just fuck him up. Don't relent, shittalk to its corpse when it is either decapped or his head is a shiny bloody pulp under your axe/hammer/machete/stone you just picked up.
He knew he couldn't stop until the job was DONE. No silly quips or shenanigans.

Can anyone tell me why people always complain? Always cry like dogs. This predator by far is my third favourite. Predator in 2018 was cool predator but weak story. Anold predator was good character but bad predator. Wolf predator was the best in pva franchise but ruin by darkness. Enough said. I like 2018 predator, it shows they are stronger and more advanced technology and better cgi.
The first predator in predator 1 was a more experienced Hunter I don't understand why you say he's bad and the newer predator movie the predator is not that good but it's above requiem but requiem had a interesting story it was just executed wrong

The Predator shoots A metal claw at her and one of that gets her right in the throat,
So that's basically an automatic death well then at the end of the movie she's walking and she's fine but wounded.
That's A real problem A metal claw that hit's her throat then she's fine at the end of the movie.
Rewatch it it was one claw buddy, and it didnt hit her throat.
Also if you was paying attention to the predators (bad bloods) they all used 1 claw and only the Og predator used the classic duel claws. That is all i have spoken.

If you look and (watch 1:45 until she gets hit) that one claw he shoots at her press stop/go until the claw actually touches her so either:
1. I'm seeing an illusion nd the way her head jerked backwards was A complete miss and didn't hit her at all.
2. Or watching this scene and I'm hitting stop/go until the claw touches and by her jerking back like that it's A giveaway that she got shot in the neck or Jackass.

I like how the movie shows that even in the infrared mode they have a scanner which can differentiate materials and matter. Although you can only appreciate stuff like that in short clips like these.
I think the scene from the trailer showing Royce with the lasers pointing at him should’ve been the ending to this film and then have Royce kinda awarded a trophy or something by an elder predator

Well, Royce got reward from Elder Predators in Novel. Elder Predators give him a predator suit battle but for human usage, as the reward for murder the betrayals/bad bloods

If the classic predator would"ve been rested...at full energy...etc it would"ve killed the berserker. Even so he stood up really good and it was a prisoner for who knows how long ..tied up to that stone.
The biggest issue is that super predators don't fight fairly, so the other Yautja would have been at a disadvantage anyways. You can see clearly when we fired the plasma gun at him when he felt overwhelmed.

No, I meant it more in the sense of: "yes, if berserk WERE NOT to have all of his toys, and that poor classic predator been in a better shape; there is very good chance of success." But Royce ( I think that is the mercenary's name) that to resolve to tricky tactics to fight him and survive his attacks. In the art of war, all is valid; no matter how unethical or unfair. That's what I mean by saying he had all odds against him. He had an honorable death though. Though I highly doubt he was going to keep his head.
