What a lot of rubbish, he is not suffering! His wife and daughter are. He should be responsible for telling the daughter and in-laws that he has decided to divorce and be with the other woman. It's his choice.
I agree. He is hoisting the situation on his wife's shoulders, and if she deceives her daughter and parents it will make her just like him...a liar, deceiver, and cheater. Since he feels so obligated to go be a father elsewhere, is now remembering morality and responsibility (still just for the mistress and her unborn child) - then, he should stand up for his decision and not cower behind his wife's reputation as a good person. The daughter will blame her thinking she caused the divorce because she kept it secret to protect herself...her parents (esp mom) will be livid and disappointed in her for concealing something as big as divorce and likely will attribute this failing to them as her protecting the undeserving him so allowing such a huge blow to happen to them. He is healthy to take what comes from his decision, they are not in the same great health. She shouldn't agree. Their ways parted when he announced the word, divorce. It doesn't matter why...'why' has no relevance in a decision made for or [esp] against you by another person. Because it won't make a difference to the decision and its outcome (including being hurt). This show should have been named, The Man Owed So Much.

I agree. Why are we supposed to feel sorry for the dominating women who seduced another woman's husband .... Destroyed their family, destroyed her assistant's romance. What is with the husband ? He s destroying the lives of his legitimate wife and daughter to marry a woman he doesn't love !

Le père devrait faire passer sa petite fille en premier et ne pas se marier avec cette femme qui n'aurait pas dû profiter de cet homme marié avec un enfant en plus. Elle ne le mérite pas.
