I don't understand why the husband doesn't want to get a divorce if he seems to be very attracted to that woman with whom they are always together and doesn't even hide it. The little time he is with his wife he ignores her and treats her very badly. The wife is still young, she can start over, away from that lying and abusive scoundrel.

He honestly thinks that she supposed to believe nothing is happening when she’s listed out four consecutive times he’s lied about that woman or stayed at her house? And he still doesn’t know why she’s divorcing him? He needs to get some self awareness.

He's wrong to have lied, but she's also wrong to have never said anything about her concerns and silently waited for the situation to change for the better until it came to divorce.
