Thank you for a very good video of these Infinity Alpha 20 speakers. I got these in Maple version for free and they sound and look great. I have them now in my garage stereos. It’s really only an advantage that these are not going below 55 Hz frequency and have their bass reflect pipes/air horns pointed to the front so they can be installed quite near to the wall if needed. I have still about 20 cm free space behind them. My garage stereo amplifier is a classic integrated Denon PMA-1560. Very good combo and easy load for my big and powerful old amplifier.
They are amazing for they price. You also can check they sound test videos: - vs sony soundbar ruclips.net/video/GYMtT1Ukc9c/видео.html - vs B&W 685 S2 ruclips.net/video/sa7L3_krHp8/видео.html - vs Radiotehnika H-125 ruclips.net/video/LCYlnyBAl5w/видео.html
I have those speakers almost 18 years. Weary good build quality, heavy boxes. Deep low end but highs could be a little better. I have also sett of B&W DM602 and those are similar sounding but highs are better. Those Infinitys are weary good bookshelf speakers because the base port is in front and you dont need extra room for that.

I just bought the whole set 50, 20 center and subwoofer, one of the tweeters on the 50 is burnt so I ordered another one cost me $95… I’m not sure why everyone saying that those tweeter’s are cheap
@@sunnybeachweddings7037 Let them talk =) enjoy yours. Well after 20 years for sure those technologies are getting a little old, but when they came out they were hot advanced stuffs. you can still watch some short videos from Infinity head ingeneers explaining the philosphy and the scientific method behind those drivers. Maybe some old people here consider Infinity only from the time with Arny Nudell as the head designer. But he sold Infinity to Harman Kardon later on so for those purists probably those Infinity Alpha line was not "Infinity" anymore. Hard to discuss those fix ideas or ideology.
wants to considerably improve acoustic quality just add 2 resistors of 20w 1.5 ohms in series in the positive of the tweeter and exchange the internal coating for high density acoustic foams compare to the B&W DM601 S3 inner lining - and you'll understand
Im surprised. These are updated versions of the interludes. But the interludes are much better built 🤔 Bettter components, better box, the connectors on the interludes are all heavy metal instead of the plastic spinny things... im disapointed.

@@sunnybeachweddings7037 Are we talking about the Infinity Alpha 20! This an american designed speaker manufactured in China, and if I remember correctly, they were sold 250$ in the 90'. So how was the tweeters worth more than half the price of the speakers?
very simple, the speaker and the weak twitter. the tannoy box is much stronger, the speaker and the twitter are much bigger, the magnet🔥⏳⏳

The Infinity Kappa 200 should be compared with the DM 602 - this is a similar price stratum.
I like how they did the crossover network.
*I love this speaker build quality and review*
Quality loudspeakers. I loved watching.
Thank you! This was very helpful. A little surprised that I couldn't see a single cross brace.
Had a pair of alpha 50 a while ago sounded great but i hate that it is aluminium cones when they bend it stay bent
Made better than I thought it was, air-core inductors, no sand-cast resistors. Replace caps.
I have one pair of Infinity alpha 50. Very Nice speakers. Thanks for showing me that they are well Built and the components are good qualité!

Techscrew. Спасибо за видео. Что бы вы взяли, новые Heco Victa 302, новые Magnat Tempus 33 или почти новые в хорошем состоянии Infinity Beta 20 ?
Что в итоге взяли? По хорошему все надо слушать перед покупкой.
If you can find a pair of these second hand and they are cheap £35 ish give them a try you might be pleasantly surprised..
For £35 it's extremely good deal.

Корзины драйверов у серии Альфа солиднее, чем у версии Бета, а вот схема и компоненты(биполяр на ВЧ!!!) кроссовера попроще.
эти колонки звучат очень хорошо, если обновить колонки, то звук будет еще лучше.
