One of the best concerts I've ever seen was Japandroids at the Waldorf Hotel on East Hastings, in late 2011 or so. It was the last show of the tour, their homecoming set, and they did a bunch of the tunes that would wind up on Celebration Rock, apparently for the first time. I'd seen them 3 or 4 times before this, and they kept getting better each time, but this set was on a whole other level. Just a completely electric atmosphere. Caught 'em a few more times since then, mostly in Calgary, and they never disappointed... but the Waldorf gig was still the best.
Wow .... what a Magical array of moments that was, lucky for us, caught in time! *I literally stumbled upon this band , about a week ago... & Can't get enough. I hear similarities to some of my past FaVs like Steve Albini, Big Black, Jesus Lizard & BHS... what a Powerful & creative Duo out of the great, cold north (Canada). Once again, I am a lucky Summbitch for discovering these guys. ....oh, well, even late bloomers catch a ray of sunshine , sometimes during winter. *Thank you for enhancing my stir-crazy daydreams!!! **1 down, Many to go see Live

I think back in 2021 they played a Concert in Bremen within a Club called Tower. Still have a Tinnitus, it was freaking loud.
