TRUTH IS NOT ALWAYS EASY TO HEAR, BUT HERE IT IS.
He didn't win anything, he is a recipient.
Thanks for the correction!
"SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER!!!"
That's what Maj.General Butler was about!!
Yep the more I study General Butler the more impressed I am!
One of the finest Marines to have ever done it.
There were a group of wealthy industrialists who planned a military coup to overthrow FDR and tried to have Butler as their representative. Butler exposed the traitors and stayed the ever staunch serviceman.
He also was awarded the Brevet Medal because the Medal of Honor wasn’t allowed to for officers at the time.
He tried to give back his first MoH because he didn’t feel like he deserved it.
You know more than me! Thanks
He wasn't a soldier. He was and still is a United States Marine.
What's your point shitbird, does Audy Murphy rate with you, by the way shitbird what's your claim to fame..
God bless
Thanks God Bless you and everyone else thanks for the comment!
Why didn't you tell us how he single-handedly stopped a coup against Roosevelt?
Nearly like what is going on in this country right now!
Thanks I've lived in the Midwest and on the Left Coast..... I'm assuming you are somewhere in Middle America thanks for the comment!
He said himself that he shouldn't have gotten either MOH. One of them, not a shot was fired, by himself OR the enemy!
Yes based on my research the Medal of Honor has become increasingly harder to earn over the years may not have carried the same weight as it does today. Thanks for the comment.
FYI, no one has ever "won" a Medal of Honor or any other military decoration, for that matter.
Butler was a Marine, not a "soldier." And one doesn't "win" the Medal. What's the deal with the messed up image in the thumbnail?
Your the second comment on the thumbnail my apologizes not a soldier or a marine. Not familiar with the different uniforms.
Who cooked up the video's bull shit thumbnail?
I did it thanks for the comment!
