It isn't that hard to tell real from fake if you've owned a pair tbh. The fakes he showed had qc problems such as the blue string, the nike check, and the top of the ankle's finish, the top of the ankle of the reals have a clean finish, the fakes had a fuzzy distress finish, the check wasn't sharp and the left end of the check was a bit off. Only the trained eye will spot these differences and in hindsight, the only way you can tell is by fully inspecting the shoe. If it's on foot, even tho I have a pair I wouldn't be able to call you out even though I do l/c's regularly. If they're on feet good luck, and dont trust stockx, sole exchange, or sneakercon to legit check them. Stockx had a lot of fake FoG Vans being passed as legit. Someone passed a pair of fake mars yard 2.0's at sneakercon. Ankle wasn't a rustic worn color it was a lighter smooth color and they couldn't even tell and passed it and unfortunately a vendor bought it and I had to tell them it was fake.

emmanuel mckoy The 1:1 fakes are usually horded by the sellers, and passed to their top clients. It's a known secret, those are hard to find because they sell out extremely fast. 1:1's always have a tiny flaw however, on these it'd be the wrapping paper, box size etc the smallest details.

This. They are so good overall these days, you either need to know the shoes inside and out to an unhealthy degree (even then you have to get up on someone's feet to check) or you need a real pair in hand to do a side by side. I have a few pairs of fakes of stuff that i just struck out on. Got them just cause i like the shoe but don't want to pay the re-sell, but never would sell off as real and openly volunteer that they are reps if someone asks. Always sparks into a convo about how convincing reps are now and how crazy re-sell is these days.
The offwhite tag also different, the authentic used better material and the colour is more red and shiny than the fake, the fake looks dull, flat and cheap

I love these comparisons, they're really helpful!! The only downside is, it gives the fake manufacturers more insight on what to correct. But I'd buy the real shoes, and get a fake pair so I can sport around. If I ever pay 3k on shoes you know damn sure I'd rep the fakes. That’s what I started doing. I like to collect shoes but am scared to wear them bc I can be a clumsy walker lol, I started buying reps to wear out on a night out like when I go to bars or some just as beaters. I’ve gotten only compliments & if they ask I admit it’s reps but no one has said anything

Look, it's a very well detailed made video, brother. I aint lying here, I do buy a lot of fake sneakers exactly because of that, my CN supplier is from Putian, same city as Nike and Adidas has the factory and subsequently they got the same materials. I do have some authentic sneakers specially to compare the quality and I can tell you guys, it's the SAME thing ... for real.
If you find a good supplier, you're saved, but of course there's a ton of desperate suppliers on IG, RUclips that really need to feed the family and don't really take care of the quality.

Biggest giveaway is the ghost stitching on the wingflap, like, even on the very good fakes, its still doesnt visible very much. Actually, there is so many flaw on the fake shoes, like the backheel is little bit darker, sometimes the air placement is little bit off, stitching on the swoosh is little bit wide, and the sole glue is vertically placed, retail pair is diagonal. The one that this guy have, i think its from OWF factory.

Just came across this vid, I wanted to ask how do the fakes feel on feet? I recently purchased a fake and the outsole does not feel like an authentic Jordan 1. Like it's not even close. Fake outsole feels cheap and flimsy, almost like it doesn't have any structure nor the air unit. I should mention though all the other details are like a 8.5/10 so it almost seems like they just using a completely different midsole and outsole. Wondering if you have had the same experience.
I got a pair of replicas of these... Honestly, I couldn't live with myself by telling people that they are real so everytime someone asks about them I tell them that they are reps. In this case it would be understandable because no one is paying damn near 2.5k for a pair of shoes. Also, if you are looking to buy the replica shown on screen, I recommend buying from offwhitefactory. I'm pretty sure that's where Ledger got them from because my pair and his replica pair are damn near identical. One thing to always remember when getting fakes is that make sure that you really like the shoe. The AJ1s and the Hyperdunks were my favorites out of the 10 collection and I was lucky enough to win a pair of the HD for retail. To me, the rest of the 10 is kinda bad compared to those 2 so I can never see myself getting some blazers because they're offwhite, na for me, the hyperdunks are my favorite hoop shoe and the 1s are my favorite shoe of all time period.
Also, wear ya shoes comfortably, don't fall for the hype! In the end of the day, all shoes are meant to be worn!!!Have a good year everyone
