Peasant chat 4/10/22 New NA terminology needs to be added to NA mods.

When people say "some bolt on's" but neglect to say how much weight they've removed, it needs to be addressed.
Today we show an example of a "bolt on car" keeping up with a boosted car but omitting crucial info.

My louvers are fully bolted on, no tape on stuff here. I also had them ported by a machine shop for better airflow over the rear glass.

My brother in law used to have a NA civic he called it Swiss cheese cause that’s what the car looked like after he was done drilling holes into it to make it lighter. If you leaned on the car the whole roof bent

I was a NA guy in the LS community from 1999-2006 and at that time had a ton of fun but I NEVER made excuses. My car was 3250lbs with me in it (LITE) and it ran solid 10.70@124 (1.41…60FT) (430RW) but again I never had a built in excuse. If I won a race great but if I lost a race that was ok too. i built the car to have fun, nothing more so I laugh at all these NA excuse makers. Shut up and run your car, any competent boosted setup will cleatly destroy a NA car and I’ve known this since the 80’s 😜

I remember dragging LS cars with a SBC before I went to a LS. They dominated early 00s. It was my 89 Camaro. Gutted as much as it could be but look stock. 3150 lbs. 383 cubic inches and the works to beat cam only LS1 cars. But it did. Lol
