We got this just in time for Christmas. So far have only played 3 games 2 player, but we really like it. It has that same "Uwe" feel that we like from Agricola, Caverna, and Lehavre, but 1/3 the play time. Definitely in our top 10.
Such a great and underrated game, I’ve played it a lot but not yet the new expansions. Even though I like Agricola and maybe a couple others more, it has turned into my go-to for bringing to meetups, as it really feels like Agricola-lite in that it’s high in tactics and strategy and scores can be both low and close, but it’s shorter, simpler, and less punishing (i.e., more approachable and less intimidating). People I teach it to do always have issues wrapping their head around the fish distribution steps for some reason though. I always do the houserule such that people are dealt and can see their C cards at the start of the game but cannot build them until round 4, which helps address the main complaint I’ve seen about the game. I’ve also never tried mixing decks within a game, but after I try each expansion deck I may give that a go.

Great idea with the C decks, I should try that!
