My new 2020 YZ125X is GARBAGE...

- For those of you that follow the channel. You'll already know I traded my dream bike, a 2013 zx6r, for a 2020 yz125x. Well unfortunately the seller took advantage of me being new to dirt bikes and wasn't fully transparent about the issues the bike had. And as a result, my engine blew up after only 3 hours of ride time.
It's absolutely heartbreaking that I gave up a perfectly functioning street bike and a sport bike passion to pursue dirt bikes and all I end up with is a paper weight.

Have you ever been deceived when buying a bike?
my first bike come from a crackhead in Sackville so yeah lol
@@dasbronco happens to the best of us haha
Traded for a V-Max whis I was told needed a timing chain. Ended up being a $4000 complete engine job that blew up almost killing me.
@@BruteforceExplorer people drive me nuts 🤦🏻♂️
should have bought a Honda lol
Why so you can have a boring arse 4 stroke
Lol guess so
It's a 2 stroke, you can do that to a piston in 10 mins. Its from getting too hot.
It’s true. Also the plot has thickened, we cleaned up the motor while it’s apart last night and drained the oil. The oil was milk 🤦🏻♂️ the guy that sold us this bike greased us hard
No way thats just from running dry one time that pistons been junk for a while lol lucky its a 2 stroke can rebuild it in an hour
That’s what I’m sayin man! And if you watch the video we posted before this one from when we got the dirtbike, you can hear it’s not running right
@@yourlocalsenders people are wankers he obviously knew it was junk and just palmed it of onto you. You should big bore it while you have apart tho instead of going stock again think there's 180 kits available just make sure you break it in right regardless of what you end up going with
@@Mt24855 I appreciate your input for sure. Nice to know I’m not crazy. It was a bit of a tell tale too when I messaged buddy about it and he ghosted me. If anything screams guilty like not responding when I confront him about it then I don’t know what does lol. But where I’m new and just really want a reliable bike, I went with the stock rebuild kit. But going to hang onto the old cylinder incase we decide to bore it sometime
@@yourlocalsenders dam he was someone you knew? Makes it even worse then glad you got her sorted anyway and the big bore kits comes with the piston and cylinder lol you don't bore anything just bolts in
@@Mt24855 no we didn’t know him but we have heard of him before and he is local. And after speaking with a few other people that know him, we realized we shouldn’t of trusted him
What size is the piston? Looks like the wrong size has been fitted. You never need to wait too long for parts for a YZ.
It’s a 53.94 piston in a 54 cylinder
At least I think that’s what the cylinder that was in it was. Regardless I’m replacing it with a 53.94 piston and a 54 cylinder. And thankfully the new parts should be in this week but that doesn’t fix the fact that I paid for a perfectly working dirtbike and got one that needs money dumped into it right away :(
